Chazy & Ben Go Back To The West Coast - Grand Canyon & Penn & Teller Tues Sept 2nd

We both woke up about 4am and got ready and out for 5am. We went to Starbucks in the hotel and got a water, fruit cup, yoghurt and fruit juice for $18.
We headed to the pickup point at 5:20 and the shuttle arrived at 5:35.
At 6:15 we arrived at Boulder City airport!
We requested the front 2 seats ($100) watched a safety video and boarded our helicopter! We go to the west rim of the grand canyon. Just breathtaking! The pilot we had was just amazing! The breakfast provided was champagne, muffin, yoghurt & apple slices.
What a job to have!
After a quick look in the gift shop we headed back via the shuttle at 9am.
We got back to the hotel, freshened up and arrived to the strip about 10am.
We stopped at Coca Cola, m&m's, hard rock and Adidas then popped in MGM to get our M Life sorted for my vegas.
We both had a gamble - I won 54c and Ben $20!
We then walked to the Vegas sign... omg our feet are killing! We got there about 1pm.
We couldn't make it back walking so we hopped in a taxi back to the hotel ($10 plus $5 tip). We stopped in at Pin Up pizza for lunch around 2pm. $20 for 2 slices of pizza, 1 sierra mist & 1 beer.

We then went for a wander round Miracle Mile and both stopped for a drink.
Back at the hotel about 5pm and I conked out! Ben woke me about 6pm and we headed to Rio at 6:45pm in a taxi costing $10 including tip.
We planned to eat at BK Whopper but the menu just didn't take my fancy :-/. We ended up eating at All American bar & grille. Seated at 7:40pm. We both had the 10oz steak, Ben had a beer and I had a water and it came to $72 including tip.

We headed to Penn & Teller and it finished after 10pm.

I wanted to check out the voodoo lounge while we were there. A bottle of blue moon & a cocktail came to $21 (ouch! ).
We had just the one and got a taxi back ($12) to the hotel getting into bed not long after 11:30!

Oh that's odd. The rooms are a bit dark but we have a great view & lovely room.

I can see them now, pizza looks good! Thats good to know about PH, what room are you in so I can make a request? Did you pay extra for the view or just get lucky?

I really want to go back to Vegas and seeing your pics has reminded me. I wasn't feeling too great and the heat got to me when we were there, so want to go back and enjoy it this time. You are packing so much in and you've only been there 24 hours!
