Menu for New Trattoria al Forno at Disney’s BoardWalk

inline imageOpening day is set for the 18th December 2014 for Trattoria al Forno, the new restaurant at Disney’s BoardWalk that will showcase classic Italian cuisine including handcrafted mozzarella made daily, fresh cavatelli pasta and pizzas baked in wood-burning ovens.

Open daily for breakfast and dinner, with reservations starting 21st October, Chef Dee Foundoukis and her team in Trattoria al Forno’s kitchen are creating a true taste of all of Italy’s diverse regions.

Trattoria al Forno is open 7:30 - 11:00 a.m. for breakfast, 5:00 - 10:00 p.m. for dinner, and accepts the Disney Dining Plan.

I'm sure the new restuarant will be nice but I think Italian has been over done at Disney tbh. You've got 2 in World Showcase just next door, there's one at the Swan and Dolphin (?) and one at MK and HS too.

Kouzzina was something completely different whereas you can get Italian most places.

Completely and totally agree.

However... Disney must think this is what their guests want

And I agree also...can't understand the attraction of another Italian restaurant: should have been Chinese, Indian or Thai IMO

I love Italian food so no complaints over here Although I can see why people would like something a bit more diverse.

Ooh yum. It's a bit disappointing that we have yet another Italian. I was looking forward to trying Kouzzina next year but it looks like we will be trying this place instead, probably for breakfast as we are staying at BW.
