Boomerang flights

Hi

For those flying over to Dublin, can you state which airport you are flying out from initially? Will this be the day before and you intend to catch the flight in Dublin the following day or are you there and back in one day? then catching the MCO flight the next day

When you return do you intend to return to Dublin? If you are will you be staying overnight in Dublin and return to your original airport the next day?

I have seen some flying out of Heathrow then returning to heathrow the same day before travelling to Gatwick to catch the flight the next day..is anybody doing this?

Thanks

Hi, we're doing LGW-DUB then DUB-LHR one day, then LGW-MCO the next day so our overnight is at LGW. We have relatives that live between the two airports so they're going to pick us up at LHR and drop us at LGW. We'll be leaving our luggage at LGW as we're staying at Premier Inn and they have left luggage. That's why we chose to change airports in London, it saved us taking and paying for luggage to DUB.

On the way back were MCO-LGW then LGW-DUB. If possible we'll drop the last leg, if not we'll get the ferry across and get a hire car to drive home.

That's interesting who is the flight with from LGW to DUB? I didn't realise there was that route...that would definitely make things easier.
Re Luggae how will you get around not booking any it at DUB as I presume you'll want checked in luggage for LGW to MCO?
Who are you flying with?

We are flying Gatwick to Dublin with Ryan Air. Having the rest of the day on Dublin and spending the night in Premier Inn.

We are then flying into Gatwick the next day followed by the direct LGW-MCO.

Ryanair lgw-mco

As we have to transfer luggage ourselves from lhr to lgw and we're overnight at lgw I asked BA if we could check our luggage at lgw and they said that was fine.

We'll only be checking 2 cases so would have checked 2 small holdalls if we had to check luggage at dub. Then we would have ditched the holdalls and checked our cases at lgw. But BA said it was fine. I believe you can only do this if you have to transfer airports and or overnight in London.
