Friends In Florida - Day 5

Today was a complete wash out. The threatening storm clouds finally hit early afternoon. We were all up and fed and ready for the pool by 9am. The sun was peeking in and out from the clouds all morning. At 1pm we decided to get out and ready to head to fun spot in old town kissimmee with the classic car show later that night. Well you know what they say about best laid plans...
We had a thunder and lightning storm all afternoon and well into the evening and so stayed in the villa, playing cards, reading books and watching tv. As you can tell i caught up with my trip reports! For dinner we got a cheap and cheerful chinese from bamboo wok in Davenport. We ordered honey and garlic chicken, pork fried rice, regular fried rice, beef chow mein and crispy duck with pancakes and of course prawn crackers. It came to just over $40 and fed us all. Hopefully the rain dries up so we can have a more active day tomorrow. Frances is getting cabin fever already!
