Mr and Mrs T's West Coast Tour Twilight checkin

Today was Wednesday June 3 and started off with breakfast in bed. Normal routine for weekends so why not the day before our holiday.

Elaines mum had an appointment at the hospital late morning so picked them up and dropped them off and said our goodbyes. Eldest sons partner is picking them up and taking them home.

Home and locked the cases. Light lunch before locking the house up and walking up the road to the bus stop for our journey to Ipswich Station. Lovely day, sun out for our train ride to Gatwick.



Train left Ipswich at 1.45. Elaine had managed to get us first class seats. If honest not overly impressed by the carriage. Just OK. Got off at Stratford and over the platform for the trip to London Bridge. Most of the journey was underground. Crikey it was noisy!

Had a bit of a wait at London Bridge for the train to Gatwick. Bit of a rush to get on as the train was packed with commuters on their way home to Brighton.



Our overnight was at the Bloc at the airport, checked in and sorted out overnight bits before taking cases down to the Virgin Twilight check in.

Not very busy and very soon we said goodbye to the cases in the hope we see them the next day in Las Vegas.

Next was something for tea. Elaine had got a 15% off coupon for the Giraffe so went in search of the restaurant. Had a very nice meal and a drink. Very impressed. Would not hesitate in using them again. Had a slow stroll round the airport to walk off tea before returning to the Bloc for the rest of the evening
