Be Among The First To Book A Stay At Loews Sapphire Falls Resort, Universal Orlando’s Newest Hotel

inline imageGuests can now be among the first to book reservations for the newest on-site hotel at Universal Orlando Resort – Loews Sapphire Falls Resort.

Built around a lush, tropical lagoon and towering waterfall, the new, 1,000-room Caribbean-themed hideaway is the fifth hotel at Universal Orlando and will bring the number of on-site hotel rooms to 5,200.

Guests will be captivated by a vivid retreat that evokes a free-spirited, Caribbean sense of ease with a modern yet timeless feel. The unforgettable island escape will feature Universal Orlando’s largest on-site, zero-entry pool at 16,000 square-feet, with a white sand beach, a water slide, cabanas and a fire pit.

Dining options will include Amatista Cookhouse, a Caribbean-inspired restaurant with open exhibition kitchen and outdoor dining; Strong Water Tavern, a destination lobby lounge overlooking the hotel’s towering waterfalls and offering a tapas-style menu; Drhum Club Kantine, a poolside bar and grill serving freshly-grilled fare and specialty cocktails; New Dutch Trading Co., a quick-service marketplace; and 24-hour room service.

Loews Sapphire Falls Resort will offer incredible guest benefits, including:
  • Early theme park admission
  • Complimentary water taxi service and shuttle bus transportation to the theme parks and Universal CityWalk
  • Complimentary delivery of merchandise purchased throughout the resort to their hotel
  • Resort-wide charging privileges with their room key
  • And more!

Opening Dates: Summer 2016; reservations being accepted for stays beginning July 14, 2016.

Style: Inspired by the free-spirited sense of ease found in the Caribbean, the hotel is reminiscent of a historic island retreat.

Rooms: 1,000 guest rooms, including more than 80 suites, each with a tasteful, relaxed design.

Unique Amenities: Highlights include a 16,000-square foot zero entry pool with a white sand beach, water slide, fire pit, interactive water play area and game room.

Dining: Caribbean-inspired, full-service restaurant with open exhibition kitchen and outdoor dining; a tapas-style rum-themed lobby lounge; and pool bar and grill.

So it seems like being another 'moderate' without FOLP. Still, it looks a lovely hotel.

I'm surprised it's not going to have FOTL too , it does look lovely, but as a family of 6 there are no options for us ( rooms sleeping 5 as usual!) unless we book 2 rooms which makes it expensive!

Cabana Bay is more affordable and suits our needs for our 4 night stay there next year and it looks great!

yes, I priced it up and it worked out a little more than Cabana bay for our 4 night trip next year, but that was based on 2 adults and 3 children in 1 room, and we have a family suite booked at cabana. i think it was about $100 more?

They don't include the FOLP passes at cabana bay and won't here to make sure that it is still a perk. If they allowed it for these two hotels too, the express queue would end up having a wait like the standby queue. They also wouldn't be able to sell as many on the day or in advance.

The rooms and the hotel look lovely.
