So Cal Road Trip - Day 6 - Wednesday 11th May – Palm Springs and more Shopping!

Slept well. Walked round got breakfast just after 9. Lovely setting for resort and great views of golf course with mountains in background. Seems quiet not much people but car park for our building pretty full.
With BA get continental breakfast voucher, $17 value each, you can either have full continental, or order anything and use voucher towards it. We had full continental, was lovely. Ate outside, very warm but lovely. Left $6 tip.
Left hotel at around 10.30. Ended up in a Home Depot. I have always wanted to go in and never been in Florida or California. I could go mad in there, it's great, bought some DeWalt bits in a set and some cable tidy clips. Would have loved to buy more.
Got some fuel in car $26 but not full, should have got more.
Decided to head for Desert Mills premium outlets to continue shopping. Got there before 12. Where does the time go. Some more purchases, including 2 bags and a visit to the food court. Chinese, ok but nothing special. Only ultra designer shop we had a look in was Armani. 50% off, but when a Polo Shirt is $245, easy to give it a miss! There are lots of Ultra designer shops, and they have security guards at doors! There are also all the normal shops.
We then headed to Palm Springs. Parked in Downtown on Palm Canyon Drive, and walked up and down street. Boy it was hot, and dry heat. Lots of shops closed down or shut, and to be honest we would not have went in any. Lots of restaurants and a few bars. Not too busy. Had some water and frozen yoghurt.
Back to car, had been thinking of Villagefest here tomorrow night but not sure now.
Headed to Ralph's for some water and my first beer of the trip, and then back to hotel, just chilled in room watching TV.
Wanted to do some trail walks but worried with heat, and meeting a rattlesnake!

Palm Springs looks lovely very green considering it's in the desert.

OH loves Home Depot (not so much us girls) it's definitely a man thing 😄😄😄.

Bit's of Dubai are lovely and green - it's amazing what copious amounts of water can do!
Home Depot is definitely for the boys! My wife took the photo of me taking a photo of the big barby! It would not fit in the suitcase
