EPCOT - drinking around the world - help!
Mods - apologies. Not sure if this should be in theme parks, dining, general chat but I'm guessing not in the kids section.
It's my 50th birthday.  Planned for the drinking round the world and dreading it. I was a fairly hardy soul in my 25 years in the military. Not the best but could hold my own. Plenty of squadron nights with no sleep til sunrise. Not big. Not clever. I know before the Mormons jump on me.  5 years in civvy street has left me a warm drink at bedtime man with an occasional spicey rum. So. Today. 50th birthday and 25 years married. We have tshirts. Starting in an hour.  Help. What to avoid? |

Should add. Had a lovely morning. Staying at Boardwalk. Been here ten days and move onto RPR on Saturday.
Been for run every morning round lake and down to HS. The most marvellous run. Wore my birthday badge this morning and got wished happy birthday loads of times. Nothing lifts yours spirits more than 50 strangers giving their best wishes. Although I was getting a bit "yeah whatever" toward the end. What? You couldn't buy me a present? 😊 Even got a honk (not a euphemism) off a boat driver. 👌 Come back. Shower. And beautiful wife and kids bought me an Apple Watch. Off to Boardwalk bakery, then the ordeal begins. Please help me😰 |

We are with our friends who are also celebrating their 25th wedding anniversary. Bob and Janice.
It's just started pouring down for pretty much the first time on our holiday. Bobs commented the Gods are displeased with my 50th birthday but I reckon it's because I've chosen a salad on the dining plan. Could be an omen...   |
