The highly anticipated blockbuster attraction TRANSFORMERS: The Ride – 3D will officially open on Thursday 20th June 2013, Universal Orlando announced today.
Universal also launched an all-new “Join the Resistance” Facebook experience to prepare fans for the battle they’ll experience on the mega-attraction. “Recruits” can create their very own NEST IDs, train for battle and access exclusive photos and video. Click here to join the resistance.
TRANSFORMERS: The Ride – 3D is a mind-blowing, action-packed ride experience that pushes the limits of technology to place guests in the middle of a larger-than-life battle between the Autobots and the Decepticons. The ride was created under license from Hasbro, Inc. and is based on its iconic TRANSFORMERS brand.
The attraction which features state of the art 3D, stunning visuals and a completely immersive environment, in much the same manner as the Spiderman attraction in Islands of Adventure, is sure to be an extremely popular addition to the Universal Orlando theme park.

Beluga Interaction Programme

Universal Orlando hasn't released any official information or commented on the construction that is happening at the site of the old 'Jaws' attraction. However the rumours circulating are that this is a Harry Potter expansion, specifically Diagon Alley leading to hogwarts express.
Hogwarts Express will transport guests between This new Harry potter area in Universal Studios to the The Wizzarding World of Harry Potter in Islands of Adventure
Website themeparkinsider has stated that it has seen some plans of the area and has written an article detailing the plans for the area.
Guests can now book reservations for Universal’s Cabana Bay Beach Resort, the new, 1800-room hotel at Universal Orlando Resort that will feature value-priced guest rooms and moderately priced family suites.
The hotel is scheduled to open in early 2014 - with reservations now being accepted for stays beginning on March 31st 2014.
The new hotel is the fourth hotel within Universal Orlando Resort and will evoke the classic, retro-feel of iconic American beach resorts from the 1950s and 60’s. An area located around what will be called the North Courtyard will open first, followed later in 2014 by an area located around the South Courtyard. Each area will have a unique look and feel.
