This is a separately ticketed event on selected nights at the Magic Kingdom in December. Most of the rides are open until midnight and there are extra fun and games with a Christmas theme. Disney even manage to get it to snow! Includes an extra parade and more fireworks.

Each night will feature:

• Nightly performances of "Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Parade"
  
• Exclusive holiday entertainment, including fireworks and stage shows with Disney characters including "Mickey's 'Twas the Night Before Christmas" and "Celebrate the Season."
  
• Character greetings throughout the theme park, including Santa Goofy
  
• "Snow" flurries on Main Street, U.S.A. ... brrr!
  
• Delicious holiday treats - cookies & hot cocoa.

No, all you need is the MVMCP Ticket, but you will not be able to enter the park until around 6pm

The park presents a special Christmas parade, a new Holiday Wishes fireworks show, special performances, Christmas cookies, and--get this--some honest-to-goodness snow falling on Main Street USA. The most popular Magic Kingdom attractions open for the events. The Magic Kingdom presents the holiday parade during the daytime on select dates in December as well.
