When to Visit Orlando and WDW

Deciding when to visit Orlando is one of the most important steps in planning a WDW holiday. Sometimes it's out of your hands and you have to go when time permits, but if you have a choice then serious consideration as to when you visit should be made.

Crowds are at a low level		First Week of February Beginning of October until Thanksgiving Week before Christmas

February : Washington’s Birthday (third Monday)
March/April : Good Friday
May : Memorial Day (last Monday)
July : Independence Day on the 4th
September : Labor Day (first Monday)
October : Columbus Day (second Monday)
November : Veterans Day on the 11th
November : Thanksgiving Day (fourth Thursday)
December : Christmas Day on 25th, Note: Boxing Day is not a public holiday in America.

Hurricane Season
This usually runs from June to October. Major Hurricanes usually form in the Gulf of Mexico during July, August & September.
Not every year sees major hurricanes and with Orlando being away from the coast very often escapes the hurricanes effects.
