Norweigan air changed planes !

Hello
Norwegian air sent me a text saying they have to lease an aircraft with no entertainment as their aircraft is in for maintenance

They said I could have a full refund if I wanted

The flight with them cost me £495 with food and luggage

I rebooked with TUI for £350 which includes extra legroom seats and luggage. Same times ish but into sanford

Fly 9 days time . Winner winner chicken dinner !

Norweigan air have processed full refund as we speak

Did you also book a car from MCO that you need to change to SFB?

Great result, if you have car hire arranged from MCO make sure you change it to Sanford.

There standard aircraft are having to fly more routes due to the 737max debacle,Mandy they don’t have the fleet to cover these needed maintenance checks. Boeing are going to gave to soy a lot for this and other airlines issues

Neither did VA have a big enough fleet to cover the Dreamliner engine issue, even with Deltas back up.
VA wet leased 4 ex Air Berlin A330s to cover that, similar to Norwegian.

Similar issues also with BA resulting in their flights to Doha being cancelled and passengers transferred to Qatar Airlines flights and some other long haul flights being operated by Air Belgium using a similar plane to the one operated by HiFly.
