I’m not going to defend myself any more... so if I go into an almost empty coffee shop (you won’t find me at Disney or Florida / or busy coffee shop) 4 adults and a baby should all stand in the non existent queue to wait...

 EVERY and I mean every table taken by inconsiderate laptop users, their stuff spread over large tables and bags on chairs to deter anyone asking to join them for a seat AND laptops plugged into Starbucks electricity sockets. All with either no cup in front of them or an old battered empty paper cup for 'show'. We had nowhere to sit  and just try getting eye contact with any of these people to even begin to ask... We wondered how it made any business sense at all. But the Americans seemed fine to stand around drinking their purchased drinks or taking them outside into the cold to sit on a wall. Bizarre!

Currently sat in a Costa with my laptop charging. Did buy a coffee and cake though. On a small table for 2

Does this count as a hogger...
Sat in St Pancreas Spooners.. Spotted a table in a always packed bar. Sat down and ordered a burger and pint from the app.. No ones asked to sit next to me yet.. Maybe its not that busy over the other side or maybe I don't look approachable 😂😂😂 Yes... I am that person that goes out to eat solo when on business and no longer cares as I have to eat! Well I'm just in Costa having some toast and sat on a sofa across tge way from me, is someone who appears to have bought nothing. Just sat there for over half an hour on his phone. Just cheeky! Lol.

If the business owner isn't bothered and it's not stopping you sitting and eating your toast , I'm not sure why it's a problem unless they are having a loud conversation and disturbing other customers
