Another dibber has mentioned booking a longer stay to cover all possibilities of arrival date due to accommodation availability so would I be better booking for 10 or 11 nights?
Had anyone struggled to get another person added?
Cashback effect? Allow if book at higher price more cashback but would this be refused if not paid out before changing?
Suggestions for tactics based on below
3 people (DS classed as adult)
Arrival day between a Sunday and following Wednesday
Minimum 8 nights in POFQ but would consider other moderate
Depending on early arrival date either 21 or 14 day Tickets
The remaining of stay will be off-site and booked after return flight booked
I'm ok with paying the £50 amendment fee
TIA
We are going to do something similar. Hopefully, we will get reward flights? To help the chances of getting flights, I’m going to book 12 nights onsite with the view that we will probably do 10 of those nights. We are planning on going to NY for a few nights first. I’ll book 1 adult in each room onsite (which we did this year) and then add the rest of the fam on at a later date when we have confirmed dates.

Book the longer stay for 1 person. Then shorten it and add the others. Chances are price still goes up, no amendment fee.

Welcome to the dibb.

I have just re-read the story and it says 10% off your hotel and ticket package at selected resorts - I read that the tickets will also be discounted. It does state they have to be purchased at the same time and for everyone in the party.

hi, i’m thinking of doing the same, but don’t understand why no amendment fee. Thought you had to pay it if you were paying less for the booking; which presumably you would if went from 14 nights and reduced to, say 10?
can any one explain for me please?

When you add additional people you also add their disney tickets sending the price up, probably overcoming the decrease for booking less days

If you are planning a room of 4. But book 1 to start. When you add 3 more you add their tickets £1,200 ish increase. If you upgrade the dinning plan that will be another chunk.

So it depends on what you book and add on but there can be a lot of value you add on. It also depends the price per night of the resort that you deduct.

So you would have to do the calculation for your exact booking, but chances are if you add 3 people, you could drop 2 or 3 nights at no cost.

It'll be hotel and ticket deal together but I imagine the dining plan won't be discounted (although I hope it will be )

Yes. Some TA's might quote and say they will add the free dinning later, but that is risky as they may not actually get the rooms you are after. Happened to a lot of virgin customers last year.

4 more days.
