This was our first trip to France with our dog 'Sparky' in tow. Myself, DH, DD17 and DD13. He already had his passport in place. We travelled via the Euro tunnel which meant he was with us in the car and not left alone at all. On check in there was no difference to usual Eurotunnel travel. No checks done on Sparky at all on our way to France. Security has been upped though with every car being swabbed which is good to see.

Eurotunnel was just 35 mins. So quick and efficient. Headed straight onto the motorway. We stopped about half way at the Assevillers services. Good facilities including a fast food burger place on the southbound side and a Paul French patisserie on the north bound side. A bridge means you can access both. There is an Ibis hotel here if anyone is looking for a stop off on route. The journey from Calais to DLP takes under 3 hours. You can take your dog into the services building too.

As you get near Paris you drive under the runway at Charles de Gaulle.

We arrived about 2.30. If you have a dog, ask at the car park entrance and they give you a code for the car park by the pet centre which also doubles as disabled parking. It's right at the front. The code changes daily. We checked Sparky in. It was very busy and weren't sure if they had a space at first but luckily they did. They ask you how long you are staying and then that cage is for your dog until you go home. It's good because it'll have his smells in it and become a little familiar. The big dogs are in another room. The cage was really big and we could have fitted his bed in it twice. It's stainless steel all round and metal grate on the front. They clean it in between each doggy guest. You need your own bedding. They provide water and food for free if you want. We didn't need food as he ate before he went each day and once we'd collected him later.
It's 10 euros a day and 10 euros overnight. We were only using daytime. We only had to pay for the first day as we were getting Dream annual passes and it's free with these passes. The staff were all friendly and we felt happy leaving him there.

So we headed into the park. We had bought our passes on super trips and printed at home. Very glad we did as the kiosk queues were very long. Then we headed to the Annual Passport office to exchange our vouchers for our passes. Then our faces dropped. We saw the queue. Out the door and snaking up and down. Never seen anything like it. I think everyone must have got passes for xmas!
It took forever. 1 hr 45 in total!!! We were frozen as most of this wait was outside and we left gloves etc in the car as didn't think we'd be long!

By the time we were out we were really not up for joining a long ride queue so headed back to collect Sparky and check in to the hotel. Of course we had to go via the Main Street shops and even caught some of the parade which was wonderful.

Big Ben and Peter Pan . Love the music and lights. Magical.

The stress of the long queue was fading as we got into the Disney magic.

The tree was beautiful.

Couldn't leave woody out of the trippy.

So we headed back to collect little Sparky and headed to check in at the Adagio. We like it here as the location is perfect. Right opposite val d'europe shopping centre. McDonald's, subway and a whole load of restaurants just over the road and a short walk through the centre to the HUGE Auchan supermarket. 10 euros a night for the dog and 10 euros a night for the secure parking. It's so much cheaper to stay here too. It's only a short drive to Disney or you can walk it in 15-20 mins. You come in at the side of the big world of Disney.

Main bedroom. We booked the 1 bed for 5.

Bathroom. Toilet is separate.

Lounge. There's another bed that pulls out from underneath.

Plenty of storage

Bedroom storage

Kitchen area

We take a DVD player and hdmi lead as although there are a lot of channels, none are English. When I was staying with the dog in the evening I watched some game of thrones.

Just outside the shopping centre they had some little trampolines and a mini fake skiing area for the kids.

The next 3 mornings we out Sparky in the pet care centre and collected him after lunch. We were all so cold by then we wanted to go back to warm up. We took it in turns to stay with him whilst the others headed back for the evenings. We could have taken him back to the kennels as it was open till 1045 but we didn't need to as we were happy to alternate.

On the Wednesday and Thursday it was freezing but we had gone with all our winter gear. DD13 refused to wear a coat as usual but even she gave in on Friday when it was -4!

Extra magic hours was just 1'hour so busier than usual. Freezing fog arrived Thursday. As you can see in the picture from Friday morning, the fog was so bad you can't see the castle.

So pretty at night

The fog was so bad Thursday night as I drove back to the park. I was actually scared. Couldn't see a thing, not the road signs, even the white lines on the road. Didn't want to completely stop in case someone hit me. Crawled along thinking we'd taken a wrong turn then suddenly saw the feint lights of the entrance just a few metres away. Thank goodness. Thought I'd have to leave the car there and walk home but luckily it cleared slightly for our return journey.

We all had a great time but didn't get anywhere as much done as usual due to the crowds. Arriving early was essential for some rides like Ratatouille. Still took 30 mins in single rider. And Crush which took 55 mins even though we arrived at the gates well before opening.

Did get 2 rides on BTM. Once in daylight and once in the dark. It was down all day Friday due to the weather. Ice is not good for breaks. Apparently it did open very briefly before going down again. Friday was not a good day as we arrived early and SM, BTM and Indiana jones were all down making the other lines crazy. We did get to ride SM later once it opened but with a long wait.

It also snowed lightly on Friday morning which turned everything into a beautiful pictur postcard scene. Sooooo cold though. Never felt so cold. We wished we had taken snow boots and ski gloves.

Even poor Minnie was frozen.

A highlight of the trip was the new Vapiano restaurant. It's out of the way so no one knows it's there which meant it was easy to get a table when everywhere was heaving.

They give you each a card on the way in. You find yourself a seat then go up to the various stations to order your food. One for pizza and lasagne, others for pasta and risotto etc. They put it on your card and you pay on your way out. If you order pizza they give you a buzzer so you can sit down while it's cooked.

The food was excellent. All cooked fresh. DH ordered Hawaiian and they cut up a fresh pineapple for it. Huge chunks and so much toppings on everything.

It was Quick service speed but fresh food in a lovely setting. So good we went back the next day. Much better value than the park food.

Inside the restaurant end of val d'europe.

Friday was very very cold. I know I keep mentioning it. I did check the weather before we left and it said 6degrees. Next time I will still take ski wear just in case.

Driving home Saturday there was fresh snow on the ground as we passed Paris. When we stopped at the services it was still -4. An hour from Calais it was still this cold.

All of a sudden the frost disappeared and the temperature climbed. When we got to Calais it was a positively toasty 8 degrees. Felt like spring!

As you drive towards the Eurotunnel check in there's a big sign for the pet centre. You park up and pop in with your pet. They pass you a scanner which you hold over the dog so it reads their chip. You pass it back they check the passport and give you a sticker for the windscreen. Back in the car and proceed to check in as normal and that's it. All cars were swabbed again which did cause more of a queue on this side but better to be safe.

Just realised I missed out the vet! You have to see a vet a minimum of 24 hours and a maximum of 5 days before you renter the uk. I googled vets in Serris before travel and emailed to see about booking an appointment. I used Clinique veterinarian du Dr A Lemaire. The receptionist and vet spoke English which was great as my limited French doesn't extend to vet or medical terminology. Really friendly and she gave him a really good check over. I had taken the worming tablets our vet gave us and she said they could use it as it is licenced in France too. Cost for the passport service was 38 euros. Maybe more for a big dog. However, much cheaper than we were quoted here. You can have it done here if your trip is under 5 days.

So that's it folks. Another great visit (but cold) . Already booked the next trip 2-8 April. The Dream annual pass is great. Gets you EMH, free parking, free doggy day care, 10% off food and drink and 20% off all shopping and souvenirs. ( I certainly made good use of that discount). We also plan to go in the summer for our main holiday this year. A more relaxed trip with visits to other places too. Taking your dog to France is really very easy. The French are real dog lovers. You'd never see a dog inside a uk motorway service station.
Sorry it's not as much detail as my Florida trips. I just wanted to get some info out there for the dog owners who would like to visit but have a four legged friend to tag along. Any questions, about anything, please ask.

Packed up the last bits and headed for breakfast.

Pancakes for darren and oatmeal for me.

Waffles for the girls. We used all our left over credits for packets of setts, cookies and rice crispy treats to take home.

Couldn't find a pic of those sorry.
We went to try and check in at the hotel. If you are flying domestic with a US carrier you can check in onsite. I went to ask if we could check in for international flights. He said that as we were flying American Airlines for both flights, they would allow us to check in there. It took a little longer as the lady was a bit unsure and needed help with it being an international flight. However, we got our. Boarding passes for both flights and got rid of our luggage which was great.

Much more relaxed arriving at the airport without luggage. We stopped at Walmart on the way for more sweets. Mike and Ikes. Dropped the car back and had a look round the shops at Mco. Headed to the food court for some Panda Express.

It was really spicy which I'm sure it wasn't last time.

Our first flight was a little late taking off as people kept sitting in the wrong seats. The pilot got the hump and made an announcement saying if we all wanted to be later carry on not sitting down etc. He had a point but they did leave it far too late to board everyone anyway. Only about 15 mins before take off time when they began the boarding.

We arrived on time at MIA. Had lots of time to spare so we wandered about looking at the shops. You can walk and get the sky train (monorail) to get to other bits without having to clear security again. I had a burger at Wendy's so I didn't need to eat on the plane.

As our flights had been free, we paid to upgrade to main cabin extra seating for our return flight. This was excellent, loads of legroom and seats that recline more without affecting the person behind you. I kind of dozed on and off for most of the flight. Watched Captain America the winter soldier as soon as we boarded and I had watched half of it before we took off. They were waiting for a relief pilot for some reason and he was stuck in traffic so it took off 45 mins late. 7 hrs and 35 mins journey home.

So we are home now and unpacked. Sparky (above) was very pleased to see us. My parents very kindly looked after him and I'm sure he's been thoroughly spoilt as he is very happy.
We've had an amazing time and I can't believe it's all over. Next year we are doing The south of France with Sparky but hope to return to Florida in August 2018. Ideally the same time as the queues were really low. Ideally stay a little longer and maybe squeeze in a night at Clearwater. Any questions, please feel free to ask. Thanks for reading and sorry for any errors. I wrote the report mostly late at night when I was too tired and rushed to proof read.

Alarm went off at 6.30 and I did the trip report for yesterday while the others washed and dressed. They headed off to breakfast while I got ready. I hate pancakes and can't eat eggs so the breakfasts are a bit wasted on me over here.
The weather is Awful outside and it may be affecting the wifi as I cannot get the next photo to load so I may have to finish his once home. Sorry. It could just be that more people are online in their rooms as the rain has been heavy for hours now. We have had an amazing day though before the rain really set in. I'll keep trying for a bit.

I'm back. Home and sort of unpacked so time to finish the report.
We arrived at the magic kingdom at 9 and everyone had already gone in. Halloween seems to start super early here as all the decorations are up.

Very pretty.

The weather certainly was like autumn in the uk except still very hot.

Looks like they do like each other after all. lol

Check out that sky. Lots of heavy showers today but dry in between. That is until the evening. More on that later.

First up was space mountain. Only 20 mins standby but it took less than 10 so the girls went round for a second round.

The outside of space mountain and the shop you exit through on the left. You can personalise magic bands and phone cases in here. Loved the magic bands. They really are an amazing invention. Never took mine off. No need to hunt for the room key when you get back. No need to carry cash around if you don't want to. No hunting for fast pass tickets. It's all there on your wrist. At the end of the ride you scan your band under your picture and it uploads to your account. On some rides you don't even do that, it just reads it as you ride and automatically adds it. This happens on Seven Dwarfs mine train and it also creates a little ride video. They really are magic.

Dancing in the rain. Only light at the moment!

Can't help but dance along. Much to Holly's embarrassment.

The man himself.

As you exit space mountain it reads your magic bands and puts your name on screen.

We had Fast passes for space mountain, seven dwarfs and splash mountain. We could easily have done them all without fast passes as the queues really are low. Splash was the longest at about 35 minutes. This is a great time of year to come. Certainly the lowest queues I have seen. There have been some busier times of course but arriving early means you get everything you want done.

We did a bit of shopping and headed out about 2.30 ish.

Got back to the resort and packed as quick as we could so we could head out again. The girls had been going on about the sky coaster in Kissimmee for. Months. I rode this when it first opened many years ago and they wanted to try it so we headed there to see if it was running with the weather. They close it if there is lightning in the area. 300ft poles and lightning don't go well together!

No lightning around so on they went. Not cheap at $35 plus tax each !! As soon as they started to get pulled up it rained. You know the typical torrential Florida rain. I was feeling very sorry for them.

We filmed them and they looked like ants so high up. As they began to fall the screams sounded like real terror rather than the usual ride screams and I worried that they didn't enjoy it. However, they loved it. The rain stopped as they came down and I think we were lucky to ride as storms were coming. They were on a real high after and laughed watching the footage back on the phone.

We headed back to the car and dropped it back at the hotel. Jumped on the bus to the magic kingdom. It's the only park that I prefer not to drive to. The Disney bus drops you at the gate rather than the transportation centre so it really is quicker than driving.

It was raining a lot now and pretty much constant. We walked over to the Contemporary hotel to try their food court for dinner. There's not much room in here so you order at the till and they bring it to you.

Girls had meatballs. Not much pasta sauce so a bit dry. We had the pot roast which was delicious. However, as always in Florida the potato was laden with butter which doesn't agree with me so I Had belly ache and looked 7 months pregnant for a few hours. It's my only complaint about the food here. If you go for the healthier option of potato and veg instead of fries, it's always full of butter.

Cupcakes, cookie and croissant for dessert. I had the candy bar cupcake which had toffee sauce in it. Looked sickly but it was delicious. Didn't eat the icing as too much of it. Wouldn't eat here again. Just felt like an after thought crammed into a small area next to chef mickeys. Nice to try somewhere different though.

Just realised forgot to mention lunch. We had Casey's again. Swopped desserts for fries so we could share 2 X foot long hotdog meals.

Darren and Chloe had a funnel cake and ice cream cookie sandwich.

I had a mint choc chip ice cream. Far too big so half ended up wasted.

Holly had a mickey chocolate apple covered in m & m's. Not a snack credit but she'd been dying to try one. $10.99. Under the chocolate is a layer of toffee caramel. None of the actual Apple was eaten. Lol

A rather gloomy sky on our last day.

We headed back into the magic kingdom and did a few more rides in the rain. We had a fast pass for the speedway and we still rode in ponchos. It was pouring down and not very pleasant. Last ride was the people mover before we decided we were wet enough and headed out at about 8.45. It's a shame the weather was so awful for our last day but we have generally been very lucky this trip with the weather. We had no rain the first week.

Sorry for the delay. It was a busy day yesterday and I then needed to get some washing done so it was very late when I finished and I just needed sleep.
Holly and I started the day with a crispy creme donut that I had picked up on the way back from Clearwater. The others went to the food court for a proper brekkie. We drove to Hollywood studios and arrived just as it had opened.
Met these guys just inside the entrance on the left with hardly any queue.

We headed straight round to Rock n Rollercoaster. It said 20 minutes queue but took 10.

When we got off the girls went straight back round for a second ride.

Next up tower of terror. Only10 minutes stand by queue. Love this ride. There were only 2 lifts working due to technical problems so the queue built up after this but once fixed it was really short queues again.

Next up we stopped at The Trolley Car Cafe (Starbucks). I had a caramel frappucino and the girls wanted to try the strawberry drink. Delicious. We declined the extra large even though any size counts as a snack credit as I didn't want to ruin lunch. They have iced water available for you to help yourself in here which we did several times today.

Next up was our fastpass for toy story. Holly got a strawberry slushie near here. It was also fizzy so a bit wierd but she loved it. Toy story queue was so short that the fastpass queue basically joined at the same point as stand by. It really is quiet. The busy day guide and touring plans were right.

Saw these guys doing their march up to the stage, a brief show then back in again. All good fun and a real wow for some of the kids watching with dropped jaws.

It really annoys me when people put kids on their shoulders. Ruins everyone else's photos. Just plain rude!

Headed back for our fastpass for tower of terror.

The shops are full of Halloween stuff.

View across the lake. There are stands in every park now with free mosquito repellant. They are doing all they can to reassure people. Not seen any mosquitos since I've been here and I am a magnet for any biting insects. There is a lot of spraying going on at the resort.

We watched the Indiana Jones show. Not seen this since the girls were born. We all enjoyed it. Still the same show.

Next up, lunch. Sorry photo not great. We ate in ABC Commissionary. Bacon burgers all round. They were huge. 1/3lb burgers. Darren and I had the no added sugar strawberry parfait again. Really nice, like a trifle. Chloe had chocolate mousse and Holly had the Olaf cupcake. They lady got the dessert order wrong so ended up giving us an extra chocolate mousse for free.

Our final fastpass was for Star Tours. A great ride again. Chloe wanted another one of the strawberry drinks. Extra large this time. She says its like drinking jelly.

We headed straight to Disney Springs next to get some Disney souvenirs. The receipts we got from meals in Magic Kingdom gave us a 10% discount on Disney shops here so we headed here to buy. A storm was close by.

I bought a grey Disney jumper, Chloe bought the long sleeved t. Holly got the socks. We also got lots of pressies here but won't post and spoil the surprise. The other items were from the outlets later. Tommy H tops reduced from $59.99 to $19.99. Converse were $49 I think. Can't find the receipt.

Reebok t's $7.99. Nike 2 for $25.

We headed to the Vinland road outlets after dropping the Disney shopping back. It was raining a little as we left but when we arrived it was torrential. Luckily they have added a multi story car park here since our last trip. We still got wet as not all the walkways around the shops are covered and it was bouncing off the pavements. Didn't stop us though. The American Eagle outlet here was great. A minimum of 40% off the entire store. Jeans not included but were buy one get 50% off second pair. Chloe and I got some lovely jeggings. So comfy.

The rain on the way to the outlets.

So we headed home and grabbed dinner. Darren had turkey and carved ham dinner.

Chloe had pasta with candy floss for dessert. Still in the bag though.

I had the pepperoni flatbread. Holly wasn't as hungry so had garlic bread sticks with marinara dip. These are so yummy.

We have so many meal and snack credits left so popped into the shop to exchange some. You can swop a meal credit for 3 snacks so we got 9 candy items for 3 meal credits. Great to take home for gifts.
Today is our last full day. It's going to be cloudy and a fair amount of rain showers as the tropical storm is on its way here. Isolated tornados tonight and tomorrow too. We fly tomorrow via Miami and I'm hoping there won't be big delays due to the storm as it is due to hit here tomorrow. Nothing we can do about the weather though so we won't stress about it. Off to Magic kingdom today and then might park hop a bit to do our favourite rides as it really is quiet now. Perfect time to come. Didn't need fastpasses yesterday.
I better get going.

An early start today but still left later than planned at 7.45. It took almost 2 hours but we did stop for fuel. It's soooo cheap. I wish it was this cheap to fill up back home. We hit a little traffic going through Tampa but that was all. We parked at the main car park by the pier. It's $5 per hour but a maximum of 5 hours. We all applied sun cream before leaving but Darren said he'd spray his legs when we arrived. He forgot! I remembered after 3 hours on the beach 😳
We went for a walk first and grabbed some sandwiches from Subway as we'd not had any brekkie today. 1 X foot long bacon egg and cheese, 3 X 6" ham subs, 4 drinks and one packet of crisps. $27.

Subway.

This beach is so gorgeous. White sand that stays cool under foot and reflects the sun more so you really need to up your sunscreen. Shame we didn't think of that this morning. Holly was fine I covered her in the rest of the all day stuff. The rest of us are a little pink. Darren's legs match his red t shirt and apparently it's my fault for not reminding him to spray them. Up the factor if you come here folks. We were only on the beach 4 hours but should have known better.

The forecast was for mostly cloudy but it certainly wasn't. Plenty of sun with some cloud and a strong breeze but it still got very hot.

Some people near us made the mistake of giving a seagull a Pringle. They obviously haven't been here before. Hundreds of birds descended on them and would not leave them alone. One even picked up a bottle of suncream from someone nearby but dropped it as it was too heavy. Do not feed them!!!!! They become really annoying very fast.

We did have a rain shower on the beach but we just put everything under the sun umbrella till it passed. 2 chairs and a parasol was $30 and additional chairs are $7 each. Not cheap. If I stayed here for a longer stay I'd buy some in Walmart.

A very nasty storm was close by then headed out to sea . We could see the lightning and hear the thunder so decided against going on the Clearwater screamer as planned. We did see lots of Dolphins playing in the sea from shore though. Every time someone went past on one of those banana boat things pulled by a jet ski the Dolphins would try to join in. As the weather was looking worse and our car park time was up we headed back to the car at 2.45.

We drove a few miles down the road and pulled up in this very quiet car park which was only $1.25 per hour. They had toilets. Pretty gross but useable. No lifeguards here and the beach is very narrow and not soft sand but still very beautiful and much quieter. No cafe or anything though so you'd need to take supplies.

This is the second beach.

Other direction.

We headed home. Had horrendous traffic due to 2 accidents on the I 275 from St Pete's to Tampa. Added at least 45 mins To the long drive. Stopped at publix on the way home to get some stain remover and washing liquid as the powder in the laundry rooms here doesn't clean very well. I hate going home with a case of dirty washing.
We headed for dinner in the food court. We'd not eaten since the subway sandwiches this morning. We did grab a milkshake each at McDonald's on Clearwater beach but weren't hungry for food. I forgot to order a large Sprite in there so when I asked for it after, she gave it to me for free! Drinks at the main cafe on the beach were $2.50 each.

For dinner we had 3 X create your own pasta, 1 X pulled pork sandwich with chips (crisps). Desserts 1 X apple blossom with ice cream, 2 X m&m cookies and 1 X chocolate cake. We all got drinks to keep for tomorrow. I got milkshake as I picked up some crispy creme donuts for tomorrow's brekkie. I don't like pancakes and eggs don't agree with me so I'll stay put when they go for brekkie Tom.
Well today was a fantastic day. Really glad we went. Definitely want to do a few days at the coast next time but only if we can come for longer than 14 days as there is just so much to fit in. Only 2 full days left and we have shopping to do. Not been to Idrive apart from a quick drive through on the way to the mall. Girls want to do the sky coaster in Kissimmee. I did it when it first opened before they were born.
Better get some rest for a busy day tomorrow. Starting at Hollywood studios.
Good night.

Good night.

Today started with breakfast at Riverside. 2 X pancakes with sausage and bacon, 1 X Mickey waffle with bacon and sausage. I had Oatmeal (porridge) with Apple juice to keep for later and a warm cinnamon bun which I only managed half of. You can use a quick service for 3 snack credits so we used 4 X quick service credits. We have some spare meal and snack credits.

We decided to get the bus this morning and arrived about 10 minutes after the 9am opening but I wasn't worried as both touring plans and the Dibb busy day guide suggest today won't be busy here. They were right. We went straight to Everest. It said 15 minutes but it took less. The others went round for a re ride. The sign now said 20 so they did single rider and got straight on. We did ride again later in the day too when it said 20 minutes but took less than half that.

This pic is of the toilet block. It shows the detail on the themeing which is amazing. We headed to Khali River Rapids. Darren decided not to ride as he didn't want to get wet. He's been suffering with a sore throat and cold. ( no he hasn't been bitten by any mozzies !) there is always one person on this ride that gets absolutely drenched by a big wave that comes over their entire seat from behind. Today that was me !! Despite the intense heat it took me a long time to dry out. We rode primeval whirl with less than 5 minutes queue and had a look around lots of shops. We haven't bought anything as we know the food receipts from the Magic kingdom contain a 10% off voucher for world of Disney at disney springs so we will pop over there and get the souvenirs all together.

Everest.

We had some photopass photos done here too.

We used some snack credits for some frozen strawberry lemonades.

While the others went to watch it's a bugs life, I went to try Yak and Yeti out as I still hadn't dried out. I had the Teriyaki beef which was delicious and full of sugar snap peas, carrots and mushrooms. Much needed veg! I chose the pineapple coconut cake so I could keep it for the others as I didn't want a dessert.

We all met up again and headed into Africa for the Lion King show.

This show is truly amazing. An absolute must do. Music, dancing, acrobats, dancing with fire, colourful costumes. The songs will have you clapping and dancing in your seat.

The acrobat monkeys were excellent.

Before we left we used a quick service credit for 2 drinks and an elephant ears pastry for the others to share. The photo doesn't show how huge these are.
We headed back to Riverside and Holly and Darren had a rest in the room while Chloe and I hit the pool. It rained lightly very briefly whilst still sunny and we stayed put on our loungers enjoying the coolness. After a while though we could see a storm approaching and hear distant thunder so headed back to shower and change. We timed it well as the rain was torrential.

It was dry when we arrived at MK and the temperature was now much more comfortable. Our first FP was to meet talking Mickey.

This was so good. He chatted to us and had us all laughing with his card trick. Highly recommend booking this. The standby queue was only 25 mins too.

Dinner was in cosmic Rays. 2 X roast chicken mash and green beans and 2 X hotdogs. S'mores and choc cake for desserts and we swopped one dessert for fries.

We had a ride on the people mover and the others rode teacups whilst waiting for our other Fastpasses for the speedway and seven dwarfs mine train. I had booked them for later so we could ride them in the dark.

Everything is so pretty lit up. Apologies for the poor photos. My phone takes much better night photos but as you know it's broken !!!! Driving me crazy. Can you tell?

Headed to the plaza ice cream shop to grab 3 X cookie sandwiches and a sundae before the electrical parade. I asked to use 1 snack and 1 quick service credit and she put them all through as just a QS credit. Another snack credit left to use. We have quite a few spares now!

We moved into the hub and sat on the new AstroTurf area to wait for Wishes fireworks. It was good but disappointing as it doesn't compare to the amazing show in 2012 with the projections on the castle.
As it finished we speed walked as fast as we could to the bus stop. They had the huge bendy buses running so we got on the second bus and were home in 15 minutes.
There's a tropical storm heading to Florida that's probably going to give us some very wet weather on Tues and Wed, our last 2 days 😢 tomorrow we will be up early as heading for a day at the beach so I better get some sleep. Today was a tiring but amazing day.

So we were headed to Epcot to ride the new Frozen ride today. It was the first FP but not till 11.20 so we had a more relaxed start. Decided to get the bus to Magic Kingdom so we could get the monorail to Epcot. When you arrive this way the monorail does a loop through the park before you get off and you get a great view.

When we arrived we had another photopass photo done. They really are great as they load onto your account so quick.

The girls wanted to ride sum of all thrills as it was a 30 min queue and we had plenty of time. While they queued we headed over and rode test track in the single rider queue which only took 5-10 mins. Headed back in time to get a picture of them on the ride. For anyone who isn't aware, you design your own ride then it's programmed into a simulator for you to ride.

We headed over to Norway for our Frozen fast pass. The stand by queue was 65 minutes but we were on within about 5 minutes. It was fun but I wouldn't wait an hour for it.

Next we headed round to America for lunch. We hadn't eaten anything today yet.

The girls chose cheeseburgers and fries, rocky road mousse brownie things and Sprite. We had the all American burgers ( mine with no cheese) , coke zeros and peach cobbler. We also got 2 free iced waters which we added some Vimto concentrate to. It really is so hot and humid and I had done a run this morning, sweating about 3 pints along the way! We were trying to increase our fluid intake but couldn't drink it all in the end. The meals were once again huge and none of us finished it. I think the changes next year will be good. No desserts but 2 snack credits instead of 1 means you can choose a dessert when you actually need it or an extra drink. We just get desserts we don't need and can rarely finish.

Next we headed for our fastpass to meet Mickey, Minnie and Pluto. As you can see Chloe has trouble keeping her eyes open in photos. Not just on this trip. Any photo lol.

The standby queue said 25 mins which is very good.

Th others did the final FP for spaceship earth on the way out while I had a nice sit down in the shade. We headed back and changed for the pool. I put some washing on at the poolside laundry while we chilled out. It started to look more and more like rain and we heard some distant rumbles so headed back to the room for showers. As we got back it began to rain. Then it poured down with thunder. Good timing. We have hardly had any rain this trip and it is really needed to clear the air. There had been a power cut earlier and there was no hot water. Maintenance came and said they are resetting the boiler. They'd had a lot of calls but it may take an hour. We were heading to Disney springs so just had a quick wash with cold water and covered my hair with a hat. We drove as it is literally just 5 minutes in the car.

We purchased cinema tickets for the 7.30 showing of suicide squad and headed off to look around. It was about 5.30 now. Stopped at ghiradelli's for 4 medium milkshakes. Cost just over $30. The first time we have bought food/drink this trip. We did buy some water and cans of drink and donuts at Walmart but that's it. They were delicious but should have got small ones. Soooo filling.

The rain forest cafe.

We sat by this stage for a while listening to some great singers. There are stages all around Disney Springs now with various performers singing etc.

Popped into the shops eyeing up the goodies but no way I could manage any after that milkshake.

Will be back to use some snack credits though.

Yummy.

This splash zone had a DJ playing music next to it.
We headed over to the cinema. The seats were amazing. So much leg room and they were huge and rocked. Super comfy. The movie was good. Chloe had already seen it back home but Holly was desperate to see it as she was too young in the UK. It is rated 15. Here it is just a pg13. We all enjoyed it. If you see it, don't be quick to leave. There is more after all the credits.
We headed back to the resort. Discussed going for dinner but it was 10pm and we all agreed we would be eating just for the sake of it so decided to have breakfast instead.
Another great day but sad that we are now on countdown to going home 🙁 Only 4 full days left so no more lie ins.
Tomorrow we have fastpasses for Magic Kingdom in the evening to ride the speedway and seven dwarfs in the dark and to meet talking Mickey. We have decided to head to Animal Kingdom for opening as we can get our favourites done without fastpasses first thing. Better set the alarm.Goodnight
