I can’t believe our first week is done! Today the others left early for discovery cove and we decided to spend the morning at the Vineland outlets. We arrived just after 10am and dropped straight on a free parking space. We just hit the shops we were interested in and DH got jeans in Timberland for a whole $20 and he had trainers from new balance. Roo had Adidas predator footy boots and some Gazelle’s also a north face bag for school and a couple of north face tshirts. North face had a lot of 50 and 60% off on I managed to get a top for 9.99 and a jumper for $16. Dh got shorts for 19.99 a pair and when we got the till we used the discount booklet for an additional 10% off. We had a look in the Disney shop but it was really busy and we were soon leaving with nothing.

We didn’t have any breakfast this morning so by 12 we were starving and had a five guys three burgers later we were all full and looking forward to an afternoon at Blizzard beach.

We arrived at Blizzard around 1.30pm and it didn’t seem too busy we had photos with goofy then went on the hunt for somewhere to stick our stuff.

We headed for the green slides first and did the toboggan racers then the other mat ride snow stormers both with really short queues. My only complaint about Blizzard beach was the floor they don’t have enough sprayers and in places it was dangerously hot.

Next we headed for the kids bit and Riley did the obstacle course and then Fahrenheit drops we headed up the mountain and did the family raft ride they put us with another group of 3 adults and this meant our boat was heavy and was quite slow going down. We had our photos taken at the bottom. We decided to bob round the lazy river next and on the way round we spotted the rapids. We got out and picked up an ice cream almost $10 for 2 feels ridiculous but they were enjoyed and then we headed over to the rapid slides.

Again there was very little queue and we decided to go down the enclosed slides Riley went first and as he sat on his ring to go it shot up landed on his head and he went down on his bum the ride attendant hit the emergency button which stopped anyone else going on the ride and called down. They told her he had come out fine but we then had to wait for a manager to come and reopen the ride. I was cringing with embarrassment and also worrying about Roo who was at the bottom on his own. This was a good 5 minutes and when we eventually got down he was stood talking to an English lady who was wondering why her son was taking so long to come down.

Roo had come out okay and wanted to do the slides properly this time so the 3 of us headed back up and did the uncovered one and all enjoyed it. We all got back in the lazy river and Roo and I decided we wanted to do slush n gusher. We left dh and went and got the ski lift up. I have a fear of height so ski lifts aren’t really a favourite of mine so I was over joyed when it stopped half way up! We were soon at the top and in the queue. This was the slowest queue of the day and must have taken 40minutes but we both felt it was worth the wait we loved it. It was now 5.30 and we found dh collected our things and headed back.

Tomorrow we are off to Clearwater so we stopped at wawa and filled up the fuel and also popped to Walgreens for some factor 50 and more water. When we got back at 6.15 the others were already back and suggested mini golf.

A quick shower and we all headed to Buffalo Wild Wings for dinner we were seated quickly and the adults all went for the combo 5 boneless and 5 normal wings picking various sauces. We went for the mild for the kids which nearly went wrong as she thought I said wild. Buckets of corona were $15 so we ordered 3 of those.

The wings came out and the heat was ridiculous even the kids mild was hot only Roo ate them; I had the hot bbq and the medium sauce my lips were on fire. One of the girls had the Thai curry they were ridiculously hot and we all like spicy foods. It was a shame as overall it was nice just too hot. The surprising bit was the bill was only about $25 a family less than Maggiano’s but didn’t feel anywhere near as good.

It was only 9pm but the kids were all flagging and we decided not to bother with golf and get them all in bed. The adults brought chairs out the rooms and we all sat on the walkway outside our rooms drinking the rum we purchased as the airport. By 11pm we were also all ready for bed.

Tomorrow we are off to Clearwater for the weekend stopping at Pierhouse 60 I can’t wait! Here’s to week 2.....

Orlando Attractions

Today was the day Riley was most excited for Volcano Bay it was the only thing he had asked to do this holiday. We woke around 8 with a few sore heads and all met at the pool to give Birthday gifts to one of the others. We had breakfast there it was our first time having breakfast at the Avanti and it was nice I had a breakfast sandwich with fruit, DH had it with hash browns and Riley had cereal.

By 10am we were calling Uber’s to universal, we are all really impressed with Uber it’s so quick and easy and this worked out cheaper than taking two cars and paying to park. One big advantage though is DH is on an EE max plan so we don’t have to worry about Wifi he can use his data as normal.

We arrived at the drop off point and waited for a bus to take us to volcano bay this felt like a pain it was boiling hot and the first bus was full so we had to wait quite a while. Once we got to the park we needed to buy a one day ticket as we didn’t have universal tickets like the others. There was no queue so $260 later the 3 of us were in the park we were given our Tapu’s and this is where we made our first mistake we turned left and headed for a locker and then a sunbed on the main beach. We should have gone right there were loads of sunbeds scattered amongst the rides which were much more convenient we would later fetch our things and move them. DH went and purchased a swim tshirt which turned out to be a good move as it was another hot and sunny day.

We soon dumped our things and started walking round we passed Ohno drop slide and it was showing 45mins so we tapped it, this is when Riley’s Tapu came up as deactivated.

We found a desk where quite a few people were queuing with problems and the lady said to me we need to see his ticket. I said the one I’ve just left in a locker by the entrance, she said she would do us a favour and give Roo an unassigned band so we were soon on our way again. Maku and phui were both ride now raft slides so we jumped on them one was scarier than the other I’m sure it was phui we all loved them and carried on waking round we then passed the board with the wait times on and Krakatau was already at 145minutes so we decided to tap in for that while we did everything else.

The fast river was next it’s brilliant and we went round for quite a while. Then we spotted taniwha tubes were ride now so we queued for those again we enjoyed them. We had about 60minutes now to Krakatau so decided to grab some food then head back to the fast lazy river.

We had nachos and fish tacos they were rubbish and the worse park food we’ve had so far, we did learn that you can grab free water from the food booths so we’re happily grabbing those then throughout the day they tend to be where the collection hatch is just on the corner for you to grab.

Finally our time had come and we were buzzed the roller coaster was worth the wait we all loved it. Next we tapped in for punga racers a 20 minute queue this wasn’t really worth doing its short. The men wanted to do the big raft slide Honu so we headed round but the queue was 105minutes but ike was only 25 minutes so we tapped in for that.

We all hit the slow lazy river then this is lovely and really long. We only floated all the way round once and we were buzzing this was when Riley realised his band was missing! Panic stations we were all looking and someone saw it on the bottom of the pool so relieved we headed out to then realise we are missing one of the other kids. Another panic Dh spotted her further up the river so got back in and eventually returned with her.

Ike was a 5 man raft slide so me and DH went on with the 3 kids and had a laugh. It was now gone 5pm we had been there since 11am and it was still really busy we decided a bit of time in the wave pool before heading home. As we walked round we noticed it was closed off so we gathered our things and headed out of the park. There were lots of staff with iPads asking for feedback. We said how we’d only really been on 2 big rides all day and you had no chance with 2 hour queues of doing much. The lady said it’s what she is hearing all the time at the minute and universal do want the guests feed back.

We all really enjoyed volcano bay and the Tapu idea is good in reality there is just too many people in the park for it to work properly.

We were soon back at the Avanti pool, I walked down to Walmart to get some nail varnish remover and when I got back we all got ready for our dinner reservation at Maggiano’s.

Maggiano’s we were all starving when we arrived but knew the portions would be huge, so no starters were ordered. The ladies started with glass of Prosecco and the men beer, then a glass of wine each for with dinner.

I had a linguini di mare sorry for the trip advisor picture above I seemed to have forgotten to take photos of anything yesterday! The linguini was amazing mussels, clams, shrimp and lobster in a slightly spicy sauce. DH had the lasagna and really enjoyed it. Roo also had the lasagne and described it as the bomb! I keep eating and eating it was too good to leave the boys helped and ate some muscles and shrimp and eventually my bowl was empty. They brought a cake with a candle and we all sang happy birthday. The bill with drinks and tip was $350 and we all agreed worth every penny.

I can’t recommend Maggiano’s enough if you want a special meal the food is amazing.

We walked back to millers and had one drink in there but lightening started so we carried on walking back closer to the Avanti as we passed Bahama Breeze the rain started so we ran inside. $2 Cuba libra was still on offer so we sat there drinking those watching the storm.

The rain carried on for a while the kids were getting tired as it was now 11pm we ordered another drink and said as soon as it slowed we would head back. It was around 11.30 and we saw a chance and did a rather quick walk back the pavements were flooded in places so we had lots of wet feet.

Tomorrow the others are off to discovery cove and we are planning to go to blizzard beach.

Today started late I woke around 8 and we left Riley till he stirred about 9.15. We got ready and popped to Friendly’s for a quick breakfast I’m steady fed up of the massive breakfasts and opted for 2 pieces of toast with coffee DH had the lumber jack and said it was good. We got the 10.30 shuttle from the Avanti that was supposed to go to Epcot when we boarded there was far too many people which seemed ridiculous when we had booked in advance so they knew how many were planning to go. The driver then announces they can’t drop at Epcot and he will be taking us to Hollywood studios we were planning to head to Fort wilderness to collect our magic bands from our throwaway booking so we got off and went to the bus stop it was absolutely boiling today and the bus stop didn’t have much shade as it’s a temporary one 20 minutes later we were all melting and losing the will when the bus eventually arrived we got in and she tells us she needs to wait for someone to take her off. We were all happy to be sat in the air con so didn’t complain. We were soon on our way to Fort Wilderness and it took around 10 minutes to get there I went to the check in and collected our bands no issue they did look a bit surprised when I said I didn’t have a vehicle. We left and walked to the resort bus stops and this time luck was on our side and the Epcot bus was just arriving we arrived at Epcot as 12 and was quickly inside and heading for our test track fast pass. We all really enjoyed this and our next fastpass was mission space we opted for green as the orange make me feel queasy.

We were all feeling hungry so we headed to sunshine seasons and dh had this monster sandwich, I had the sweet and sour chicken and Roo had the shrimp and rice we all enjoyed it and were soon off to our Nemo fastpass. Nemo was down so we went inside and had a look at the fish, we decided to queue for character spot we got some good photos in here.

We decided to start our mission of drinking round the world the kids brought a passport each and we had a quick meet with Pluto then we headed to mexico. I had the mixed frozen margarita it was lovely and needed with the heat today it was a scorcher. We went to the boat ride for it to breakdown as we got to the front so we gave up just had a wonder around then headed to norway.

The girls did a quick meet with Anna and Elsa as the queue was short we all had a beer and they for their passports stamped. Next was China we all had Tsing Tao beer here and asked the lady at kidkot to write Riley’s name in Chinese which she was happy to do.

Germany I had a wine DH another beer then Italy was next it had to be Prosecco here and this was the first time any of us got asked for ID. As we arrived in America the guardians of the galaxy mix up
Show was starting so we grabbed a bud light each and a Mickey pretzel for the kids and watched the show we all enjoyed it particularly when they sang ABC at the end. The sun was finally starting to go down now it had been so hot all day we were all feeling it.

Japan we had a laugh one couple had the sake it was so strong it was a killer I went with the cucumber cooler and it was really refreshing, DH had another beer! The kids went to kidcot then came back Riley gave me his bag with his passport in which turned out to be the last time we would see it, we left Japan hard a group photo taken on the way out and when we arrived in Morocco it was gone. We left the others there and retraced our steps but it was lost. Roo took it really well and I felt terribly guilty thankfully we had already have a completed passport at home.

France was next I got a watermelon wine it was lovely and some of the others got food as we were all starting to feel the alcohol. Riley wanted chips so we carried onto England and queued their for fish and chips for him. I managed to get a harp with it, it had now gone dark and the illuminations was due to start and we were all seriously flagging.

We decided to exit via the international gateway and walked to Fantasia Gardens golf and got an Uber from there.

The walk through the beach club was lovely and we all talked about whether we could stay onsite. Our Uber soon arrived and it only cost $24 for an xl to get 6 of us home. The other 3 paid around $15.

Tomorrow is supposed to be volcano bay and it’s one of the others birthday. However dh is suffering with sunburn so I’m not sure what we are going to do yet.

Apologies on any typos I’m too tired to read this through and check it!

Today started at a very reasonable 7am I hadn’t stirred all night and felt really refreshed. Roo woke around 7.30 and we started getting ready for the day about 8am. Three of the others were also up so 6 of us headed to IHOP for breakfast standard breakfast for us all eggs, sausage, hash and toast the kids had pancakes. All suitably stuffed we headed over to Typhoon lagoon and unintentionally arrived at 9.58am the park was just open and we were quickly in and bagging our sunbeds towards the middle of the wave pool messaging the other to tell them where to find us.

We hit the tube slides straight away apologies as I’m rubbish at remembering the slide names. We did the two single tube slides and pretty much walked straight on them then headed to the family raft ride we queued a good 15minutes for this and it was rubbish all unimpressed we carried on working our way clockwise. Next was the drop speed slides this is one where by the time you hit the bottom you’ve lost your cossie in places it isn’t lady like to extract it from. Storm slides were next and we were soon down them and walking to crush n gusher, we walked past the other family raft ride and the queue was huge so we left it for later. We went pineapple on crush and loved it. Next up was a few times round the lazy river the missing 3 spotted us on there and we all headed back to the beach for a ten minute rest while the kids played in the waves.

I them went back on everything except the lame tube slides with the kids and 2 of the others we did the family raft ride and all loved it, we did banana on crush which felt longer than pineapple. It was now 2.15pm and we were all starting to feel hungry. By 3pm we were heading out Roo grabbed a quick meet with Lilo which was lovely she was kissing him and doing a heart sign and Riley was getting really embarrassed.

We headed back via Publix and all grabbed chicken tender sandwiches or wraps as well as topping up on beer and water aka the essentials. In Publix we started to realise we had really caught the sun at the water park DH tends to burn and despite wearing ultra sun and topping up while there with spray he is still a very pink shade. Everyone’s face is pink and their are a few more red shoulders. The weather had been lovely all day though and really hot.

We sat round the Avanti pool to eat our sandwiches and just chilled chatting under umbrellas as we were all sunned our for one day. The clouds gathered so at 5 we headed back for a couple of hours chill in our rooms. I started writing this report, DH and Roo watched TV and it hammered it down with rain for half an hour or so.

We left for Bahama Breeze at 7pm and there was quite a queue inside but as we’d booked a table we were seated straight away. They had some Rum drink offers on for a couple of days a Cuba libra was $2 a Bahama Mama was $3 and a pain killer was $4 so the drinks started flowing. The first Cuba Libra the men said was lovely the second was very strong then the third was okay. I stuck with the Bahama Mama and they were all lovey. Food I went for the mahi and shrimp lemongrass bowl It was really good and full of fish now we had eaten here in the past so knew the portion size was going to be huge. The other moms ordered the large portion of a paella and a shrimp linguini to share with their daughters. DH had a full portion of Jerk chicken pasta but couldn’t finish it and Roo went for the burger sliders he was getting very tired but actually cleared his plate and said it was really good. There were desserts for the kids and DH had the banana bread cake it was amazing we all had a little try as it was huge. The bill came and felt really cheap at $200 for the 9 of us given how much we had drank.

The kids were desperate to hit Senor Frogs the adults not so much we went in and had a beer each, the kids had a balloon hat made Riley had Spiderman the girls a unicorn hat each all were fab and we tipped her a few dollars each. Senor frogs was quite tame to how we’ve seen it previously, we finished our Beer it was now 10pm and we decided to grab one more drink in what we think is a new a bar by the Avanti called Bar Louie we walked in and it was really quiet and the server explained it was happy hour any beer $3.50 any glass of wine was $4.50 and any Martini was $5.50. Even the prosecco was $4.50. The others all had a nice glass of red and I went with a pineapple martini. The kids really were all flagging now so by 10.30 we headed back to bed.

Tomorrow is Epcot I’m just hoping my head isn’t sore in the morning!

I was fast asleep and rudely woken by someone talking outside our room at 5am I managed to get back to sleep and didn’t wake again till 7.15 we all woke around the same time and just lay in bed and chilled for an hour. We watched someone on the news about catching Burmese Python’s in Florida Everglades as they are killing too much wildlife the biggest one was 16ft long it was shocking.

We decided to head somewhere new to us for brekkie hash house a go go wow the portion size is ridiculous we should have shared our food with Roo. Even DH who is a big eater was struggling and left half of his monstrous pancake. I had the ham, cheese and spinach scramble with a biscuit it was delicious. I used my rat and play card for a discount. On the way out a guy caught us for photos on the tractor he works for tips. However he was lovely and did us some really good photos and we had three key rings and so we gave him $10.

We headed to Fantasia gardens mini golf and played the more fun gardens course we all really enjoyed it DH was victorious, Roo was being a pain on the way round being daft and not playing properly after a chat from daddy we all had fun. It was our first time at a disney mini golf and I would definitely do it again. It was a bit cloudy while we were doing it so it wasn’t too painful heat wise.

Disney springs was next last time we visited was 3 years ago so it has changed loads we parked in lime garage had a wonder round and grabbed a Starbucks but didn’t buy anything. We had originally planned to grab lunch there but we were all still very full from our huge breakfast!

We decided to leave and pop to the Lake Buena Vista outlets this is my favourite outlet I think you get better bargain I used my eat and play card and got the discount booklet which would come in useful later on. First was Nike I got Riley a cool USA Tshirt and Quinn picked up an Orlando one. The my favourite shop Tommy Hilfiger I got 2 pairs of denim shorts one white one blue for $16.99 each, then 2 tshirts for me and 2 for dh and 1 for Roo. At the till I used the extra 15% off coupon so in total it was $118. Converse was next but we didn’t see any we fancied so we hit Fossil, DH got a wallet, I had new sunglasses exactly the same as some I’d brought previously and broke and I picked up a bracelet for my friends birthday later in the holiday they had an offer on of 20% extra off which make the total $55! I was very pleased with this our final shop was Timberland DH got shorts and a polo shirt for $31 as they were giving an extra 20% off for an e-mail address.

All happy it was 3pm and time to head back to the pool today has been some of the best August weather I’ve seen the sky is really clear and it’s boiling however by 5pm the clouds start rolling in.

The others appeared as the lightening started they cleared the pool and we all sat under the cover by the pool bar the rain didn’t really appear though and before long the pool was back open. We sat round drinking our own beer and then I grabbed the bottle of rum we brought from the airport and we were having rum and coke with lime. We tipped the bar staff and they were fine with us drinking our own alcohol and we had a good laugh with them over the night.

We ordered pizza and fries from the onsite restaurant and it was good we had boring ham and mushroom but all enjoyed it, the kids swam till 10pm and we drank and talked. The others had really enjoyed their time at the hard rock and universal their favourite ride being the hulk. However they were all shattered after 2 busy days.

We all said how we feel like we’ve been her ages already and can’t wait for what’s next. Tomorrow the plan is typhoon lagoon and we’ve booked Bahama breeze for dinner.

Today started about 5.15 for me I felt really well rested and raring to go. The others were off to universal and the hard rock hotel for a night so it was just the 3 of us today. I woke the boys just before 7 and we were on the road to animal kingdom for 7.30 we parked in unicorn however we had walked most of the way to the park before realising we hadn’t noted where we were parked!

DH magic band wouldn’t let him in this morning so the cast member called someone over with their iPad she pulled up an image of DH entering magic kingdom yesterday which I find amazing 50,000 people entering MK a day and they’ve got a photo of each person going in we were soon sorted and off to Africa for our tusker house brekkie. I was shocked how many people were already queuing to get in at 8am for a 9 opening it was a really big crowd I assume the intention being to hot foot it to Pandora.

Tusker house was lovely we were seated quickly and Donald was with us straight away, Riley was excited to see him but played it cool I forget how much he has grown up since our early visits when he was super excited to give them a big hug. Jungle juice was amazing it reminds me of umbongo if anyone is old enough to remember it.

We headed off for our first plate of food, Riley went straight for the fruit loops I’ve never allowed him to have them before I’m such a spoil sport but this time I let him and he cleared the bowl. Daisy and Mickey were up next as were several more plates of food. I was starting to feel quite full so my final choice was fruit with a side of Krispy kreme donut holes very healthy. Our server was nice and he brought the bill and asked if we wanted any drinks to take away and assured us Goofy would be with us soon. It did take a while for him to arrive but it let our breakfast go down a bit. As we left Tusker House our server appeared from the fire exit to give me my sunglasses that I’d left on the table!

We had a fast pass booked for a safari, Riley had a dance with the African dancers on the way there he was teaching one how to floss, when we saw the guy again later he immediately remembered Roo and gave him a high 5. There wasn’t a queue for the safari at 9.15am so we ditched our fast pass and walked the normal queue. We all really enjoyed this and after headed to Rakifi’s planet watch here Riley picked up his wilderness explorer book and started completing it.

We seem to have missed so much out on previous visits to AK as we’d never been here before. We all enjoyed it the highlight being us sitting in the rainforest booth with the headphone on when it went dark and dh tickled my leg I leapt up in the air like a maniac screaming much to the boys amusement. We met Doc McStuffins and Rakifi before petting the goats and heading back on the train.

Next up was our fast pass for Navi River we strolled through pandora had a couple of photo pass photos done and were soon on the boat. I really enjoyed this it is impressive but I wouldn’t have wanted to queue over an hour. The pandora queue was 135 minutes I’m glad we have a fast pass for later in the holiday.

We walked over to Dinoland on the way in front of the tree the Macaw’s we’re flying we stopped and watched for 5 minutes it was lovely and at the end they all flew off together.

In dinoland we had a primeval whirl fastpass, triceratops spin was next and Finally we did it’s tough to be a bug. Walking the queue to it’s tough to be a big there was a large family in front of us with a lady in a mobility scooter which it soon became clear she couldn’t drive we stopped a coupled of times while her family sorted her and then the final straw on the bend she crashed it her grandson was trying to sort her but it got worse and she crashed again so I lost the will and dragged DH and Roo passed them. I’d forgotten about the poke in the back in bugs life and was leaping out of my seat again. We decided to head out the park then it was 1pm and the rain was just starting.

We drove back slowly through really heavy rain and stopped at Walmart on the turkey lake road for some essentials beer, some Smirnoff cocktail drinks for me and a nerf gun for Riley. We could hear the heavy rain while inside but the sun started to appear as we came outside so we went back and hit the pool. It was really hot and sunny the Florida heat is so intense when the sky is clear. I drank the Smirnoff cocktails I’d brought Dh had a few tins and we all just chilled.

A big black cloud was soon rolling in so we headed back the room just as a massive storm rolled over thunder and lightening right over head we all just chilled and watched it out the window. We eventually got ready and went for a walk down to the Pointe on idrive it was still spitting with rain a little but it had really cooled things down.

We went into Tommy Hilfiger I got Roo a couple of polo shirts for $10.50 each. Next hollister where Quinn got a polo for $25. The plan was to go into the pub but the Riley mentioned he wanted zingers again so we agreed to walk back to Millers this would turn out to be a good decision when the rain started again as we were closer to the Avanti.

Quinn had the zinger melt and I had the summer shrimp salad, the food was good and we shared a bucket of Miller lite $10.50 for 5. It was almost 9pm and Riley look shattered so we decided to head back and sit in bed and watch tv. We really didn’t want to go to sleep too early as I don’t want to be awake at the crack of dawn again.

Tomorrow’s plan is Disney mini golf, Disney springs and a trip to the Lake Buena Vista outlets.

Today started the only way a trip to Florida can at 4am! I stirred and tried to doze back off dh stirred then we both talked about how excited we were then we both went on our phones before giving in and trying to get some more sleep. Roo woke at 6 and said he was cold so I adjusted the aircon and we all went back off till 7.

We hit Denny’s with the others at 7.30am and it was already busy table for 9 sorted and most of us had the $6 saver menu eggs and muffin it was lovely think of a bacon and egg McMuffin only better served with hash browns. It was the perfect size too. We were on our way to Mk by 8.30.

Parked in Mulan we took the ferry to the park it’s the only way on the first day and a few of us girls were a tad emotional as the castle came into view. We were soon in the Park well some of us were 3 of the others there was an issue with their tickets they tried to sort it at the gate then they took them to guest services. This must have gone on for a while as when they finished we realised we had 15 minutes to hot foot it to our 10.15 BTMR fast pass. We made it on time and all really enjoyed it I forgot how long it is. When we got off our splash mountain fast pass was open so we went straight on and no one got that wet disappointingly as we were all starting to feel the heat.

It was very warm this morning and the clouds soon started rolling in, after splash we headed to the carpets but they were closed we soon realised it was because a storm was on it’s way. We decided to sit it out with a citrus swirl to share these are huge and one between us was plenty. We all really liked it and found it refreshing.

As we were eating the thunder started so we took cover, our pirates fast pass opened so we hit that I’d forgotten about the little drop and I got quite wet from it! When we got off I managed to book another fp for jungle cruise but when we got there it was still closed so we decided to head over to space mountain to use it.

It was really busy round by space mountain I’m guessing because a lot of these rides were indoors and still open. We were quickly on space mountain while Dh and Roo went on buzz light year. I love space mountain it’s one of my favourites and I’m looking forward to riding again later in the holiday.

After we met buzz light year I grabbed a monsters inc laugh floor fast pass. We had just missed a monsters inc show so we waited quite a long time to get in the longest we had waited all day but it was worth it we were all amused and one of us made it on to the screen briefly.

We decided then to head out of the park the 2.35 procession was about to start but we were all shattered. We got the monorail back and were soon at Publix grabbing some essentials, beer, coke and water. Following dibbers recommendations I grabbed a chicken tenders sub to share between us and it was lovely we really enjoyed it.

We headed back to spend a couple of hours at the pool which we all enjoyed I like the Avanti pool it’s good for the kids and you can sit round drinking your own beer no problem. It is starting to look a little tired they could do with some new sunbeds.

About 6.30 we headed back to shower and we decided to go to millers for a few beers. The girls went for a mojito pitcher which was nice and refreshing the boys had buckets of beer. We requested a high table inside as we were all sweating buckets in the outside section we certainly aren’t used to the heat yet. We ordered different starters like tenders, nachos, fries between us all which was good but the children were really starting to flag so at 10pm we headed back to bed.

Tomorrow the other 6 are off to do universal and check into the hard rock for one night, we have day at animal kingdom planned with a Tusker House breakfast.

Apologies for any typo’s I’m feeling the jet lag today!
