Bongos Cuban Cafe

Bongo's is now closed and will be replaced with a new restaurant called 'Beatrix'.

Bongos Cuban Cafe is located in the West Side of Disney Springs. It is open daily from 11am until 11pm for Lunch and Dinner Service.

This Restaurant is owned by the famous pop star Gloria Estefan and her husband Emilio.

When you see the giant Pineapple in the Downtown Disney skyline then you'll know you're there! This extremely large restaurant is two storey and has plenty of seating either in or outdoors. They have cosy booths in alcoves that allow a little more intimacy or if you're not bothered about people watching!

Step through the doors straight into the 1950's Havana heaven. With it's cool airy feel and colourful mosaics, why not pull up a bongo drum bar stool and sip on a Mojito.

The cuisine is authentically Cuban, offering a wide range of delicious and tasty dishes. Beware the portions here are extremely generous!

The restaurant transforms easily into a vibrant nightclub on Friday and Saturday evenings, dance the night away to the tropical Latin rhythms and live music provided.

Appetisers on the menu are the Churrasco Salad, Traditional Ham Croquettes, Cuban Mojo Marinated Fried Pork Bites or share a 'Bongos Combo' of fried stuffed potatoes, pork tamale, cuban marinated pork bites, cuban ham croquettes and stuffed yuca cups.

The Entree's offer a selection of dishes made with steak, chicken, beef, pork, fish and also cater for vegetarians. Try the Cuban Style Steak, Cuban Criolla Minced Beef, Bongos Famous Shredded Chicken Breast, Vegetarian Platter or the Zarzuela de Mariscos, comprising a seafood medley sautéed in home-made Cuban criolla sauce served with white rice and fried green plantains. You may wish to take a 'Cuban Tour' which includes roast pork, shredded beef and chicken served with fried green plantains, white rice, black beans and sauces of chimmi churro, mojo and cumin mojo in a warm skillet.

Remembering that the portions are generous, can you manage a dessert? if so they have a Churros Platter for your party to share.

The Express Window is located to the left of the main entrance of Bongos Cuban Cafe and is open from 9.30am until midnight every day.
