If you are looking for the exceptional, this is the place to dine. Situated on the left side of Main Street as you face the castle this delightful restaurant is exactly half way down. Advertised as "an American restaurant" this jewel box contains treasures to delight the tongue and the eye, serving classic American and International dishes. It also serves signature dishes from other Disneyland Park restaurants.
The restaurant is nicely styled with reminders of Walt Disney with lots of photos, models and memorabilia of his creations and his life.
The entrance has an air of Club 33 - the private dining club at Disneyland California where Walt would entertain corporate clients. There are two seating areas, on the first and second floor. Upstairs the decoration reflects the different lands of the Disneyland Park. There sections are dedicated to Discoveryland (20.000 Leagues under the Sea), Frontierland (old library), Fantasyland (in gothic style) and Adventureland (Arabian oasis)
It's a great place to relax and unwind from the hussle and bustle of the Park.
And don't forget the Character breakfasts.
If it's Parade time, try to get a table near a window on the second floor. You'll have a great view and enjoy something to eat.
On the lunchtime I visited I sampled the crab tartare with green apple with crunchy Asian style vegetables and crispy sesame wafers - perfection! My main course was roasted duck breast with a cherry and aniseed sauce accompanied by wok fried vegetables and corn risotto. To follow, I kept it simple witha glass of mango, raspberry and mint sorbets. I had two glasses of Mouton Cadet. Everything was beautifully presented and my server Julien was pleasantly attentive and friendly throughout the meal. An hour well spent. I certainly recommend this restaurant to anybody visiting Disneyland Paris. It?s not cheap ? my 3 course lunch was 42 Euros. I know that may put families off but if you are looking for somewhere for that really special occasion then this is just right.
