Villas in Hampton Lakes
Map Location
Hampton Lakes is a premier community located on the east side of US 27, almost midway between I-4 (Junction 55) and SR 192.
The 448 homes within the community were constructed by Centex - an award winning builder. They range in size from 3 bedroom/2 bathroom to 7 bedroom/5 bathroom and all have thoughtfully laid out and spacious floor plans. All of the homes have private swimming pools.
Hampton Lakes is a mixture of holiday villas and friendly, full time residents. When you see the distinctive yellow school buses picking up or dropping off, or your neighbours walking their dogs you will really feel that you are living in the heart of a 'real' American community!
The commual grounds at Hampton Lakes are beautiflly maintained and have lush, tropical landscaping including some 600 palm trees.
The community facilities, that guests are welcome to use during their stay, include two tennis courts, two basketball courts (which are floodlit for evening use), a commual pool and cabana, two children's play areas and a 'beach' volleyball court.
Your travel times to Disney will, of course, vary depending on the time of day/season. As a guide, from pulling out of Hampton Lakes and travelling north on US 27, then east on SR192, WDW Main Gate on World Drive is just 12.1 miles.
If you would like to 'Mapquest' the distances from Hampton Lakes to the various attractions, the exit road from Hampton Lakes is: McFee Drive, Davenport, FL 33897.
Berry Town Center is located less than one mile north of Hampton Lakes. Here you will find your closest supermarket 'Publix' and the excellent restaurant 'Applebee's Bar & Grill', along with a selection of independantly owned restaurants (Indian, Chinese, Pizza, Fish & Chips, Bistro) and small retail outlets.
Further north on the US 27 (approx. 4.4 miles) is Cagan Crossing's. Here you will find a 24-hour Super Wal*Mart, along with a variety of food outlets, resaurants and retail outlets.
Heading south on US 27 (just past Junction 55 of I-4) is Posner Park - a large retail park with 'big name' stores such as Target, Ross, J C Penney, Belk, Dick's Sporting Goods, Best Buy and Michael's Craft Store to name just a few.
