Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts
The Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts ride can be found at the end of Diagon Alley inside Gringotts Bank itself.
This dark thrill ride is a steel roller coaster that was designed by Universal Creative and incorporates the special effects of 3D technology, offering guests a multi-dimensional experience similar to that of The Amazing Adventures of Spiderman and Transformers: The Ride.
The massive fire-breathing dragon found atop of Gringotts, roars it’s welcome, as you enter the bank’s marble lobby. Sat above eye level you will encounter the goblin bank tellers, along the way to the bank’s offices where you are photographed for the banks records.
You then head down the hall to Bill’s Office for a pre-show, where you will be welcomed to Gringotts Bank by Domhnall Gleeson.
From Weasley’s Office you enter a lift to travel the precarious 10ft down to the banks underground vaults, whilst experiencing special video effects along the way.
As the lift doors open you take the spiral staircase up to the loading platform and board the twin, 12 seater roller coaster train for a special tour of the vaults.
As you prepare to set off you are put right in the middle of Harry Potter’s dramatic break-in and attempt to escape from the bank, but find that you have been detected by Gringotts security defences and Bellatrix appears to curse you for the theft of her vault!
Will you escape the villainous Lord Voldermort and attacks from the Gringotts trolls as you hurtle through smoke filled caverns towards a fiery death!
But as always the heroes save the day, as Harry, Hermione and Ron hi-jack the banks dragon, who heads off Voldermort’s fireball and pulls you back up to safety.
The finale ends with Bill’s greeting, that to open an account “It’s the safest place on Earth!”
