Le Cellier Steakhouse, located in the Canada Pavilion within EPCOT's World Showcase, offers traditional cuisine from Canada in a setting beneath the crowds inspired by the wine cellars (as the name of the restaurant translates to: 'cellar') of the grandest Canadian chateau-style hotels: Le Chateau Frontenac and Fairmont Chateau Laurier. Dimmed lighting, candle-lit chandeliers and bottles of vintage wines on display add to the setting.
The menu has recently undergone a few changes, now offering guests the same dishes for both lunch and dinner service. Feast on succulent prime rib and filet mignon from aged corn-fed Beef, Wild King Salmon, Spring Lamb Loin, Five-spiced Maple Leaf farms Duck and House-made Pappardelle Pasta. The restaurant has retained it's most popular signature dish, the amazing Canadian Cheddar Cheese Soup.
The restaurant offers a selection of complimentary warm bread served with salted butter which was lovely pre-starter.
With the restaurant specialising in Steaks the 'New York Strip' is highly recommended. The favourite 'Fillet Mignon', is now served with a Smoked Bacon and Spinach Risotto, heirloom toy box Tomatoes and a Paresan Butter Sauce.
The dessert menu includes favourites such as Maple Creme Brûlée, Meyer Lemon Curd Torte and a refreshing Pineapple Sorbet. They also have a Canadian chocolate 'moose', which is not listed on the menu but you can have one if you ask for it!
A children's menu is also available.
