My Disney Experience is an online portal / mobile app to help you plan your Disney World vacation.

Once you have linked your tickets you can make your park reservations, which are currently required for the first park you visit each day, you can then park hop after 2pm.

Other features include the ability to make dining reservations, use the mobile food order service and access the Disney Genie planning tool which has replaced the Fastpass+ system.

The basic free Disney Genie feature allows you to create itineraries and can make suggestions to help you plan your trip.

There is a paid upgrade called Genie+ this can be added per day of your stay. This allows you to reserve a time slot to access attraction Lightening Lanes at the parks on the day of your visit.

Disney resort guests can make their first reservation each day at 7am on the day of their visit, other guests can make their first reservation at park opening. You can then make a further Lightening Lane reservation after 2 hours or after riding the attraction whichever is sooner.

Certain popular attractions are not included in Genie+ and Individual Lightening Lane times can be purchased separately at an addition cost which varies due to season.
