Ralph Brennan's Jazz Kitchen is located opposite Tortilla Joe's in the West Side area of Disney Springs. It is open Sunday-Thursday from 11am until 4pm for Lunch and from 4.30pm until 10pm for Dinner. On Friday and Saturday it is open from 4.30pm until 11pm. Brunch is available on a Sunday only from 10am until 3pm.
Even before you enter this restaurant, you will feel like you've been transported straight to the French Quarter of New Orleans. The theming is superb with it's authentic architecture, walls with Original artwork specially commissioned by New Orleans artists give a carnival feel, just like the Mardi Gras itself!
The building is two storey and offers the choice of dining either in the garden courtyard atrium which houses a babbling fountain or sit upstairs in the stately but comfortable dining room or on the wrought-iron balcony which affords wonderful views overlooking Downtown Disney.
For a unique dining experience this restaurant offers the perfect mix of traditional New Orleans inspired Cajun and Creole Southern-style Dishes, as well as entertaining guests with live Jazz music that is performed nightly.
On a Sunday 'Brunch' takes place, you can feast on dishes from the A la Carte menu, whilst at the same time be entertained with table side magicians and listen to live Jazz music provided from 10.30am until 2.30pm.
For Lunch or Dinner why not start with Louisiana Crab Cakes, Coconut Crusted Shrimp, Three Cheese Stuffed Chilli Peppers or for a true taste of New Orleans share a 'Bourbon Street Sampler' consisting of popcorn calamari, coconut shrimp, Louisiana meat pies, crispy artichoke hearts with three dipping sauces. For those feeling a little more indulgent then there's 1/2 dozen Pacific Oysters served on the half shell with Bloody Mary cocktail sauce and mignonette sauce.
Soups and Salads are also available with delights of Creole Onion Soup, French Quarter Salad or Gumbo Ya-Ya made with Chicken, Andouille Sausage, dark roux, Creole seasoning and rice.
Traditional New Orleans entrees feature dishes such as BBQ Shrimp & Grits, New York Steak Tchoupitoulas, Chipotle-Brown Sugar Glazed Pork Tenderloin and of course Pasta Jambalaya made with Gulf Shrimp, Andouille Sausage, Roasted Chicken, Spinach Fettuccine and Creole Seasoning.
Mouthwatering desserts include Bananas Foster, Bailey's Creme Brūlée, New Orleans Bread Pudding and the delicious Creole Red Velvet Roulade is not to be missed. The famous Double Chocolate Bread Pudding is a speciality of the restaurant and can be pre-ordered in advance, indulge in the rich dark semi-sweet chocolate bread pudding that is served with white and dark chocolate ganache!
To accompany your meal the restaurant offers New Orleans Speciality Drinks, such as the Mint Julep, Bayou Breeze, Louisiana Lemonade or try a Jorge's Hand Grenade made with Moonshine grain whiskey, rum, vodka. gin, Midori and sweet and sour. A good range of Wine is available as well as Bottled and Draft Beer, they have Jazz Kitchen Lager, Abita Turbodog and Dixie Blackened Voodoo to choose from. You could also try a Jazz Kitchen Southern Cosmopolitan Martini made with Absolut, triple sec, lime juice and Peachtree Schnapps!
