Shark Encounter
Here you will find a collection of about 220 dangerous sea creatures, the setting is well laid out and has an eerie feel to it. As you pass through underwater acrylic tubes you’ll be just a few inches away from a melee of predators such as Moray Eels, Lion Fish, Puffer Fish, Swordfish, Barracuda's and of course deadly Sharks.
You enter this attraction across a small bridge that is over a shallow pool that contains sharks and rays. This attraction is very popular and in high season the lines can be long, but usually it moves quickly so don’t be put off.
Once you are inside you can see how well presented this exhibit is, as you walk down towards the viewing areas the walls are adorned with information and shark facts.
The first tunnel is a walk through, try to not rush through this part, the more you look the more you will see. The realistic seascape in front of you is a constantly changing living canvas, spend time to examine it and you will see fascinating creatures that others may have missed.
After the walk through tunnel you board a moving walkway that carries you through a second tunnel, here you can almost touch the huge sharks, as they swim past and overhead.
Without too much imagination you can easily imagine yourself swimming with these wonderful, yet dangerous creatures.
This is a wonderful attraction to see, however, although no age limit, it may be considered a bit frightening for the little ones.
