Trainer for day at discovery cove

The Trainer for a Day program is an exclusive program available for up to 24 guests each day, separated into three groups of 8. You will arrive by 8am and spend the day with a dolphin trainer until 3 pm. The rest of the afternoon will be yours to enjoy all of our amenities and attractions at your leisure. The morning begins with a behind-the-scenes small-mammal interaction and training session, feeding and care of exotic birds in the free-flight Aviary, 30 minute dolphin interaction, behind-the-scenes feedings in the Grand Reef, behind-the-scenes animal food preparation and record review, ending the day with an enhanced dolphin interaction and training encounter.

This enhanced dolphin interaction will have an exciting double foot push by two of our dolphins!

• 9:00am- Aviary Tour
• 9:45am- Behind the Scenes: Aquarium Tour (Sharks and Stingrays feeding)
• 10:30am- Behind the Scenes: Small Mammal and Dolphin Tour
• 11:10am- First dolphin interaction
• 11:50am- Dolphin interaction photo viewing
• 12:00pm- Lunch
• 1:00pm- Behind the Scenes: Meet and Greet at covered bridge
• 1:30pm- Grand Reef and Wind-Away River Tour
• 2:40pm- Advanced dolphin interaction with double foot push
• 3:00pm- End of program
• 3:00-5:30pm- Guest(s) may enjoy park attractions individually
• 5:30pm- Park attractions close

Everything is ready and waiting for you from the moment that you arrive! Included in your day's admission is a ‘Continental Breakfast’ which consists of scrambled eggs, sausage, French toast sticks, potatoes, biscuits, and a variety of individually packaged cereal, oatmeal, croissants, pastries, one or two fresh fruits, juice, coffee, tea and hot chocolate. Also, all snacks and beverages throughout the day, as well as various Anheuser-Busch products from either of our market places.

These amenities are all in addition to the Laguna Grill lunch always included as part of Discovery Cove admission.

• Caribbean Jerk Pork Chef Carved Pork with Smoked Bacon and Sour Apple Chutney served with Yellow Rice
• Teriyaki Chicken Tender chicken combined with pineapple, red and green peppers, and onion in a sweet and sour glaze
