Disney Menus
Victoria and Albert's Restaurant is located on the Second Floor of the Grand Floridian Hotel at Disney's Grand Floridan Resort.
This is one of Walt Disney's finest 'Fine Dining' restaurant's, it has recently been awarded yet another of the prestigious 'Five Diamond Award, the AAA's Highest Achievement and has a 4 star rating in Forbes Travel Guide. It is also ranked as number 6 on TripAdivor's 2015 Traveler's Choice.
The Restaurant offers 'Avent-Garde' Modern American Cuisine with ingredients that have been sourced from around the World, with dishes comprising Australian Kobe Beef Tenderloin, Niman Ranch Lamb, Wagyu Strip Loin or Alaskan King Salmon to name a few.
The 'Head Chef' Scott Hunnel delivers artfully designed, exquisitely imaginative dishes and offers wine pairings with each course. The menu changes daily to ensure that only the freshest seasonal ingredients are used.
Savour the ambience of pure opulence as you enter this establishment, steeped in Victorian charm, with added touches of fine tableware, fresh flowers and delicate harp music playing in the background.
The Dining Room has 14 tables and offers a 7 Course Prix Fixe Menu. If you would like a more romantic quiet setting then the Queen Victoria Room has just four tables, allowing a level of intimacy for guests.
A new addition to the dining room menu is a 'Chef's Degustation Menu' which features 10 small courses, inspired by the season's and by Scott's travels around the world. The menu costs $235 and is also available with wine pairings, which bumps the price tag up to $340!
The award-winning wine list has over 700 selections to choose from, so this is where the Sommeliers can excel with their knowledgable recommendations.
The Chef's Table
This has to be the 'Ultimate Dining Experience' as up to ten guests are seated at a large table 'inside the kitchen' at Victoria and Alberts. Guests are able to watch the meals being freshly prepared and interact with the Chef's whilst they work, who are more than happy to answer any of your questions.
You begin the evening with a Champagne Toast followed by ten personally crafted courses that have been chosen for you by the Chef, according to your tastes.
This is an expensive and highly extravagant experience, but one that will indulge you with the most unforgettable memories.
The restaurant does operate a formal dress code that guests are asked to adhere to.
