Ticket Confusion
Hi guys hope you can help on this one! We're heading for Orlando next May (4 Adults and 2 Children) for the first time and are not sure on tickets. We've caught a lucky break in that my mother-in-law works for Disney and will have 12 one day tickets for the Disney Parks. That's great but it does mean I'm not sure what other combination of tickets we'll need. We've got a third week in St Pete's so will visit Busch Gardens so the Orlando flexticket seems a good option. But what about Disney? Shall we just buy more day tickets at the gate? Thanks for any advice! |

Visit some of the web sites for a 7day hopper ticket I always believed its better to buy before u go its definatley better than the gate price

Buying tickets on the gate is not necessarily the cheapest (or the best) option. With 6 people and 12 1-day tickets, your best bet would be to buy child tickets (base MYW tickets would probably be best) for the kids and use the 1-day tickets for the adults. If you plan to visit Disney on more than 3 separate days (presumably you will want to visit each park at least once), you would be more sensible to use the 1-day tickets for just 2 of the adults and buy multi day tickets for the other 2.
As far as the flextickets go, again it depends if you will want to visit Universal and IOA. If you do, then the flexticket may be your best option. Be aware, though, it is only valid for 14 days from date of first use. As you will be visiting Busch in your 3rd week, if you buy the flexticket, you would need to make sure you don't activate it until the start of your 2nd week.

Be aware that if you planning on doing the water parks with the children, the 1 day disney passes you have dont cover those( I work for disney to!), so you would need a pass with that option.
probaly best to write down a rough schedule on some paper, that way it would give you a better idea of exactly how many more tickets you would need. Jules
