I just wanted to wish my little boy Ellis a Happy last day in reception today.

He's had a fab report and is in the top group for everything and I'm just the proudest mommy in the world.

He's growing up too quickly

Its my 'babies' last day in reception too, today - Kate has made top group too, and her report was fab - apart from the bit that said she has to remember that its always the teacher in charge - not her

DS is also on his 'last day' - his last day in primary, before heading off to secondary next Serptember - he is excited, sad and more than a little nervous, bless him.

Your right Karen - they do grow up too quickly

Our school has a leaving assembly for the big ones moving to secondary - its a killer - every parent, teacher and pupil is sobbing by the end of it Best of luck in September for your DS.

Only seems like yesterday that my DD was moving up into Yr 1...she starts Yr 10 in September where did the time go?

Good luck to all of you moving up into Secondary this year, a bit scary I know, but you'll soon settle into it

I always remember my school leaver's service at Primary school - the Headmaster said "here you are big fish in a little pond but as you move forward you will become little fish in a big pond - so long as you feel at home and happy in your pond it doesn't really matter how big or small you are - be happy all you little fishes!"
Funny how his words never left me!

It was Tobys last day in Nursery yesterday, in Sept he goes to ''big school'', well , there pre-school dept anyway , as said already they are growing up too quickly, only seems like yesterday that Megan was there.

Megans last day today, in Sept yr5 for her, , amazing report she brought home as well
