Question Hulk versus Duelling dragons...

OK, I've been told that if I'm going to be brave enough to do one of these rides, then Hulk is actually not quite so scary as DD... is that true?

I was all prepared to try DD but now I'm wavering... I need your opinions please guys!

I liked Hulk the best last time. Duelling Dragons was good, when it ended I couldn't undo my seat belt and started to panic as I didn't want to go up again! LOL

This time I can't wait to do both and I am even going to try to do front row at Hulk

Sorry there's no black and white answer for this one.

Dueling Dragons is my favourite as you get the near misses and Positive and Negative G's, plus both coasters Fire and Ice are different. I also like the whole themeing of the ride, it has one of the best queueing areas through the caverns of the dragons castle.

Hulk, this is another great ride and only slightly off DD but that's just my opinion.
The Hulk has the catapult launch, like RnR and there are more Positive G's on this ride

To be honest IMO, there is little to choose between them, they both have their own speciality.

Which is the scariest?
Hard one to answer as it's all a personal preference... but, if heights make you more affraid then DD would be scarier as it has a Slow climb to the top to start the ride, and you can see for miles where as Hulk your catapulted from within a tunnel so dont really get the impression of height.

Go try them both and you can tell us all about it

Then try Kraken at Seaworld - again only my opinion, but I rate this as the best!

I have to say that I found The Hulk to be much more frightening that DD. The Hulk ( like Rock and Roller) starts off really quickly and gives you the sensation that if this is what it's like going up, heaven help us when it goes down.

The Hulk is a great ride and I found it to be much smoother and exciting.

Thanks

Russ

you mean, you'll 'persuade' me to go on them and then comfort me when I cry afterwards!

I think the fact Hulk has a floor might be a bonus for you too,Mandy- one less thing to think about. I found the catapult start to be quite slow compared to what I was expecting so that isn't something I'd over-stress about beforehand either.

But do try Dragons after yer survive hulk - it really is the best (after Montu at Busch).
