Just back... eventually!

Hi everyone,
Just got home today around 11am absolutley shattered! Spent 8 hours on board a 2 1/2 hour flight from Orlando to Newark with a stop in Baltimore thrown in for good measure! (more details in my trip report when I get around to writing it).

Orlando was amazing as always

One thing. We did Universal both with and without FOTL. We found the first two times arriving at the park gates at 8:30 enabled us to do every ride we wanted (and that was most of them) with only a 5-10 minute wait. I would have been gutted if I had spent $200 on express pass pluses! Second two visits we had FOTL(one night stay in the Hard Rock). Arrived at the gates around 9:15 and managed a few rides before the queues built up so it definitely pays to get there as early as possible. Both parks were already open at 8:30am. Maybe its just down to luck on the day you visit?

Anyway I will try and get some trippies going as soon as I can for anyone who might like to read them!

Heather

Looking forward to the trip report.

I keep telling people not to waste money on the express passes before they go. No one seems to listen though.

Welcome back
Did you fly Continental by any chance? Our 2002 trip, were due in at Newark at 6.30 pm and actually got in at 0130 (via a refuel at Baltimore! ) this was due to hurricanes battering the East Coast. Missed our Manchester connection and arrived home a whole day late!
Glad to hear the holiday was great though.

Hi Heather
Great to hear from you. Were off soon and are doing FOTL - staying at RPR. Sounds like IoA and US are much less busy than 2 yrs ago. Even in late August the queues were horrible. Sorry to hear about your stop in Baltimore. I hope the jetlag isnt too bad.

Margaret

Soozicue,
yes it was Continental and a really rude staff member at the gate told us the ony reason our Belfast flight was still there was because the first Officer was on board our flight from Orlando! fl
Fight down to o
Orlando was another story but more of that later!
