Are these

cameras any good. Asked before about a couple of cameras but still have to replace DD's Samsung which has broken. Shame as it was red and she got some good photo's from it

Are any of these any good as I've just seen them on Boots: Samsung Digimax D53 5MP at £99.99, Fuji FinePix A500 5.1MP at £99.99, Fuji FinePix A400 4.1MP at £79.99 or Coolpix CoolPix L4 4.0MP at £89.87. Ideally would prefer one that takes a smart media memory card as she's already got one.

Fuji Finepix always get good writeups. I have a very old one and the kids use it now and manage to take good photos with it.

We just took back DD's Fuji A500 ( a replacement for the camera she got at Christmas) as it didn't have sound when you used the movie mode, otherwise it looked to be a great little camera.
All the fuji's we have had are XD compatible.
We got her a Casio Z500 which they seemed to be selling off in Asda, it was £115, she seems pleased with it.
