One days ticket use ? How does that work then ? I know you can go in and out of the same park during the day but I didn't realise you could move between parks on one ticket ?

You can only move between parks on a "Hopper pass"

If you bought a 1 day pass for MGM then you can only stay in MGM.

We have Hopped between 4 parks in one day. Total Madness

Hi Mike,
I've split this post from the Epcot post. If you ask different questions in the same thread then it'll probably get overlooked by those that have already answered your original question.

It's always better to ask seperate questions in a new thread, hope that makes sense

Anyway,
If you buy hopper tickets then they are valid for all the parks in a day, so you could present your ticket at say Magic Kingdom first thing in the morning, after lunch you could go to a Water Park and then later on go to Epcot for the nightly Illuminations or Disney Studios for the Fantasmic Show. All this would only count as one day on your ticket.
Also you only need to pay for parking once. (unless your staying on site, then you dont pay for parking)

Dont worry you will change it countless times before you go. And when you are out there

Stu - I'm confused now

I thought a water park visit used up one of your "plusses" on a Hopper Plus ticket

Anne,
Sorry for the confusion! you are correct, I was thinking of the Ultimate Park Hopper.

Normal Hopper entitles you to:-
Unlimited Access to the four main Disney Parks. You can hop between different parks on the same day and it only counts as one day. They also never expire, so if you dont use all your days come back several years later and you can use the unused days.

Park Hopper PLUS
This ticket gives you all four Theme Parks, plus the power to pick and choose other options for five or more days. Come and go as you please through all the Walt Disney World Theme Parks and choose from Disney’s Water Parks, Downtown Disney Pleasure Island and Disney’s Wide World of Sports complex.

The Ultimate Park Hopper Ticket
gives you the "ultimate" access. You can come and go as you please through all the Walt Disney World Theme Parks, Water Parks, Pleasure Island, DisneyQuest® Indoor Interactive Theme Park

Just to clarify the park hopper plus tickets

On a 5 Day Hopper Plus ticket you get 5 Days in the 4 main parks and 2 days at the water parks

On a 7 Day Hopper Plus ticket you get 7 Days at the 4 main parks and 4 days at the water parks

We had 7 day hopper plus tickets last trip
We used up 4 days at the theme parks and 2 days at the water parks
So this trip we have 3 days left to vist the main theme parks
we will do a lot of park hopping to fit in all the show, rides and parades we missed first time round
Then we have 2 pluses left to relax at a water park
weather permitting

to further confuse things, the 10 day world pass doesn't have PLUSes and it works more like the Ultimate Park Hopper, you can go to water parks and regular parks and they are treated the same.
