Hiya
Has anyone bought a camera from cameras2udotcom... are they related to Jessops?
been looking for, what seems like ages now, a decent camera... think I have finally got DH to agree to Canon 850... price online is �248.00 is this a good price?

They are owned by Jessops as are cameras4u. If you go into your local Jessops they will match the cameras2u price. I work for amazon.co.uk, in charge of cameras, and �248 is a good price. We are at �253.

Jessops will match any internet price as long as they have it in stock at the retailer, if you use Froogle to find the lowest price, print it off and take it into a Jessops, they have always matched the price for us.

If anything goes wrong, at least you can then take it back to the shop.

many thanks for the replies... Hope Jessops will do this for us...as we are hoping to get a HDD camcorder as well.

That's the camera I'm getting for Christmas, we went into Jessops on Sunday and if you print off a copy of the online cheaper price, they will use that as a voucher to price match. It's a great price, cheapest I could find.

Only kidding - I'm going to be doing the same with my new DSLR when I buy it! Then they can make the loss rather than me!

Sorry Matt, it's my Christmas pressie and DH wants to get a warranty on it, so when Jessops said they would price match, he said he would arther get it from a shop in case there's anything wrong with it.
