How many days at Universal?

As we've never been to Universal/IoA we are wondering how many days we will need to do as much as possible, without rushing around.

Eleanor and Simon like the coasters, but Charlotte and I are a bit undecided-lol

Is there loads to do apart from the coasters.

Anne,
to do the parks justice then you need a day at each. Unless the parks are very busy then you'll do it all in two days.

If your pushed for time then you could do both parks in a day if it's not too busy. Spend half a day at US then enter IOA and split up so coaster fans can do those and you can do the shows and other rides

Hi Anne
Yes there's loads more to do than just rollercoasters!

Try these two sites for info on both parks:

Universal Studios

Islands of Adventure

Hope this helps

Last October we had a 7 consecutive day pass for US and IOA, in the end we spent one and a half days in each. We did everything more than once and at the end was struggling to think of what to do next.

I looked on the US web site and they are still offering a 5 consecutive day pass for less than the price of a 2-day pass that seems good value to me. You don’t need that many days if the queues are light, but I like to split the days up and say do half a day in a park and then go swimming or shopping, I don’t think it drains you as much as a full day in a theme park.

Yes it is Julie.

Just noticed on their site that they are offering a special deal for Mastercard holders- 5 bonus tickets for the price of 4.

Any ideas if this is only for the Universal Mastercard holders

Hi anne,
We had the 5 day consecutive pass last November - we paid for the 2 day pass but had the 5 day admisssion.

We did a day in each park on the first 2 days of the ticket then did half a day in each park on the 5th day.

That gave us loads of time and we did all the rides lots of times although it was very quiet when we went and queues were non existant.
We bought them on-line and didn't pay by mastercard.

Do you have to buy these 5 days for the price of 2 days on line or can you get the same deal at the gate?

Think they are only available on-line Clare- and from what I've read elsewhere people think the offer may disappear soon.
