A couple of dining plan questions
We have booked some TS meals for the evening but have enough credits to book 5 more which we were intending on doing once we got there as we wanted a certain amount of flexibility. However having reading some other threads I'm not sure that we'll get in as they may be fully booked. We are hoping to go to Jiko, Princess Dinner in Norway, somewhere at the Boardwalk and somewhere at DTD. Do these need booking before we leave?
Also has anybody got anything good to say about Le Cellier as this has only been booked to appease me and I'm worried that DH and DD's will gloat all holiday if the service is as bad as some people say. |

I fopund that the service at Le Cellier is actually very good IMHO, they are friendly and knowledgeable - but they do seem to be under pressure to serve quickly?
The food is excellent and I'm sure if you are assertive (eg send the main course back if you haven't finished your appetiser) - then you will really enjoy the meal there.

What are your actual holiday dates? If you are going when free dining was on offer then the restaurants will be very busy and most people would have made their ADR's at 180 days out. I can understand you wanting to be flexible but you don't want to be left with TS credits that you can't use because the restaurants are full. Good luck. Hope you get what you want.

we do enjoy Le Cellier, we tend to go for ealier dining times, which perhaps would explain the excellent service we receive, as it tends not to be quite so busy.
This trip we are there a few times ... LOL more than twice anyways. It does need booking early as the slots do disappear.

I would book some places now (it's not as if you HAVE to go) you could always cancel if you find you can eat at another place whilst there.. better than having to settle for a place you didn't want.
(obviously not the ones you book with a cc ) as for le Cellier. I have eaten there twice. once befor (booked on the day) DDP and one after .. the one after was a lot busier than the one befor but we never felt rushed and the food was ok it wouldn't be so popular if it wasn't good most of the time the loos on the other hand were a different matter

I would book them all and then cancel any that you decide you don't want - in fact, strictly speaking you don't need to cancel them as they are aren't a formal reservation and the system caters for no-shows but it is polite to cancel if you are able too.
If you change your mind once you are there then you can ring WDW DINE from your hotel phone or any house phone in WDW and make changes to yoru bookings, but at least you will have a backup booking. |

Thanks for the good advice I'm now hastily planning on where to eat on four evenings. Has anyone any suggestions for the Boardwalk and DTD that are included in the DDP

We really liked Spoodles when we ate there (it was a few years ago), I am planning on going back this year since we will be staying at the Boardwalk.
