Help needed please. Canon Eos 400d
Can anyone please help me to make up my mind about which DSLR to choose. I have about £450 budgeted for the camera and am looking at the canon eos 400d. QUESTIONS:
1. Does anyone have one and are they as good as the shop assistants lead me to believe? 2. It is vital that the camera is not too complicated. I have a reasonable knowledge of cameras and photography but am no professional. 3. I have seen advertised an eos 400d and a rebel xti 400d. Is there a difference as the spec looks the same? Thanks for your thoughts, Carl Edited at 01:17 PM. |

To be honest go for the 30D you will never regret the extra spent on it, tank like construction and as said the kit lens will do for starters and sigma do a very good range for canon.

I went for the 400d -mainly because I got it for free! It's great though as Rusty says the supplied lens isn't great. However, the actual body is fantatsic and i love it. I've invested and am investing in better lenses as it grows with me. i wasn't disappointed at all and it takes some stunning pictures!
