battery charger for AA batteries
Hi,
I read on here somewhere (can't find the thread now) that battery chargers from here will not work in Florida. My camera takes 4 AA batteries so I will need to have a charger or it could cost me a fortune. My question is this... do I need to buy a charger in (say) Walmart once in Florida? Will that work with my batteries or will I need to buy rechargeable batteries as well? Roughly how much will this cost? I have Nimh (sp) batteries Thanks |

Check the voltage panel on the charger. Some will say 110/240v 50/60 cycles. These will work in the US. It is only a charger with 240v 50 cycles that wont work over there.
I bought a voltage changer in UK that I take with me. It cost about £30 but works with several chargers. Not powerful enough for hair dryers though.

What you need to look for is a charger that says 110-240 50/60Hz and one that does quick charge. I got one from CPC (uniross sprint 90) recently for under 20 including 4xAA 2500mA. Charges those in 2-3hrs. Also runs from car battery.
