Discovery Cove in bad weather?

I'm thinking of booking for DC, but given the cost (which I'll find difficult to afford), I'm worried about what happens if the weather is bad enough to really spoil the day.

How much is it possible to enjoy the day in bad weather? I suppose with the wetsuits we can still experience the dolphins, but the rest of the experience that day would be a wash out - or would it?

I wonder how DC manage such things. For example if its really cold or raining, would they let me change the booking to another day on request? Perhaps during April (2004) though, that might be difficult due to being booked up.

Do they close DC during bad weather (eg storms), and if so do they give a refund (unless it can be rebooked)?

Ideally I'd like to make DC the last day of my holiday, but I'm worried if then bad weather prevented us going and we lost our money.

We had rain after lunch at DC. It fell down.

We had the swim in the morning and then went home at 3pm. We would have spent longer if it was better weather, but I can't say that it spoiled the day. We did have a fantastic time there.

I dont think they ever close DC due to bad weather, as far as changing your mind at the last minute, i am not sure, you will be better off emailing them.

I'm sure Sian posted that you are allowed to change the date once, so if you haven't changed it before the day, you can go on the day and reschedule.
Of course, if it's the last day of your trip, then you would be a bit stuck.
