Can children share meals on the DDP?

Hello chums!

With the DDP, would the restuarants mind if we used just one childs TS and made the children share a meal, especially if the meals are quite big? Just a thought, as neither of ours are huge eaters.

Disneys official line is No but very few people seem to have had problems sharing meals. TBH my DS1 won't manage his adult meal so I'm hoping they will let us share.

Officially there is no sharing TS on the DDP. However it seems to depend on who you get. Some will let you, some won't. I guess all you can do is ask, the worst they can say is no.

They might as well each have a TS meal as you can't use Childs credits for adult meals any more so if they shared a meal you'd have Childs TS credits left at the end of your stay.

From what I can gather they don't mind as long as you tip extra, as if they'd served 2 separate meals if you get me

I thought the tip was included in your DDP. We are on the DDP for the first time in August, do you guys generally tip on top of the DDP ? .

Tips are included but I think what LizzyBear meant is if 4 people were using their credits the server would get 4 x tips from the DDP but if two people shared the server would only get 3 x tips so you should tip extra for the 4th person (hope that makes sense)
