Taking Christening pics

A friend of mine has asked me if I would take the pics at her DD christening in a few weeks time.

I am looking for some ideas of pics to take other than the usual.

I want to get the pics put in a photobook for her as a present.

Any ideas or suggestions welcome

photobook I would recomend photobox for that :-))


Go for angles not seen by guests, get close up of babys hands, feet etc. watch the white balance on the gown as a flash can burn out white silk etc. include parents, obviously :-)))) a lot of people do forget that as well as other guests there.

If the christining bowl etc is big enough a reflection photo can be very good and unusal, ask the minister etc if it is ok to walk around whilst he is working for that unusual angle.


And do not forget you are a guest as well so do not totally look for the image and enjoy the day, after shots are good as well if there is a small gathering afterwards, and the presents :-)) nice to get them in indavidual images if possible as well as grouped together.
