Autistic child

Hi all, we went to USA for the first time last year July/August 06-3weeks,we stayed in a friends villa on Eagle Point ,not knowing what to expect it was fantastic to find how guest services and in particually cast members knowledge on autisum was!. Help around every corner if or was required,this meant both my wife and I where able to relax and enjoy our first trip to WDW.
we were a party of five (wife,2 daugthers17&12,my autistic son 8 and myself)and were able live our dreams! though staying at a villa meant we could escape the crowds and noise to all allow my son some quiet time.
We are now busy saving to go back for another 3 weeks in 2008!

So glad you all had a great time. We have been to Orlando 5 times and the last time we stayed in a villa, will never go back to hotel room unless for a quick stay!
Loved the peace, space and the time to do what we wanted when we wanted.

Now in planning for our next holiday and will only go the villa way!

Glad to hear it went well for you, that's exactly how we felt - both our DS and DD have autism and in WDW we feel like anyother "normal" family

We had such a great visit first time 'round that we are now planning on visiting every year for as long as the kids enjoy it. The whole Florida experience brings my autistic boys on so much.
