My Publisher Photo Books

just posting to say i ordered a photo book using mypublisher.com last wednesday and it arrived from the us on Monday brilliant service and a really good quality book. they are doing a special offer as well at the moment use code to get 2 books for the price of 1 using code HOME241

it was designed using iphoto & photoshop and then i just uploaded the finished pics using their software.

There are a whole heap of Photobook makers now so it's good to hear a positive review rather than taking a pot-luck chance.

Did you add the Disney text, font and pics or do they have Disney "styles" ?

no all my own work,
The fonts are from
mickeyavenue/.
the logos were a bit more complicated, i opened a travel brochure pdf (e.g. portland) in adobe illustrator and then copied the paths into Adobe Photoshop for use there.
The background templates were imported from an iphoto book,
converted to a pdf, then imported into Photoshop. all quite complicated if your not familiar with the software, took quite a while but well worth it, over the next few months i will try and convert my templates for use in photoshop elements.

The question is did you save all that work to actions in PS ? I see a market there :-))

I sold a lot of action kits some time ago for portrait enhancements via e-bay and made a tidy wee sum, was thinking of doing more.

no all done manually, which took long enough! not really done many custom actions may look into that, but certainly am going to try and do some templates for elements for future trips. maybe we could pool resources pm me with any ideas
