Mobile phones

Anubody know were i can buy a cheap mobile phone while there to use everytime we go to florida,for there are quite a few of us and i have heard people say they are quite cheap to buy, and you just buy top up card,will give walmart site a go,just interested if anyone else has done this.

Hi I bought two tracfones from Walmart last trip $18 each u get 10 units of credit with them but if u activate them online it doubles to 20 , just remember its cost to answer the phone as well as make a call

Thanks highlander we did have mickey walkie talkies but they were not very good,with they being 13 of us need something just abit more robust,they sound fine its just so we can meet up etc.Have all got mobiles with triband but over the years when we have come home the bills have been silly,which would you suggest to be best option.

I take it that costing to receive a call is only if out of USA, like when we go abroad to spain ect, but would cost normal price if 2 people had phones in the holiday party but rang each other when lost ect?

No with tracfones anyway it costs to call and answer at all times, not sure about other networks

In USA you are charged for air time so mobile to mobile both pay half the call cost. Mobile to villa landline only the mobile pays.
