Are there any special discounts or help for children with ADHD?

Hello

My son has ADHD and we are going to WDW at the beginning of July, he also has been ill for the past 2 years with severe headaches. He is on a lot of different medication and has some different symptoms of this condition. I was wondering is he entitled to any discounts etc in WDW?

Many thanks

Fiona

I doubt if you will get discounts as such but you may get some dispensation for the lines ... a young person I work with who has moderate learning difficulties and some behavioural issues was able to get this ... not exactly sure of the details but worth getting in touch with disney I think ...

Look at the sticky post at the top of this Special Needs forum about the GAC or Guest Assistance Card.

One tip is that you will have more fun and probably get more done if you take more breaks.

Have Fun.

Both Disney and Universal parks have a Guest Assistance Pass, go to Guest Relations and explain your son's needs and they will be able to help you. No discounts though.

We went to guest relations with our son who has ADHD, he really struggled with the queues on the first day so they gave us a guest assistance card. It was fantastic, allowed us onto all of the rides with little or no queue.
