Not any more, you need to apply for a temporary disabled parking tag from the Tax Collector's office. There are a few threads which will explain how to do this if you scroll down or search this forum you will find them.

Apparently you need to purchase one, the person needs to take their badge and passport in and they will issue one to you.
We never purchased one , just used the one from here ,but we only parked at the hotel and in the shopping malls, and did not have any problems. |

Thank you for your recent inquiry. A temporary Disabled Person Parking Permit is required. Administratively, a temporary disabled parking permit may be issued to a citizen of another country who is here in a visitor status, by a tag agency in the area where you will be visiting. A copy of the out-of-country parking permit (if the permit has two sides, copy both sides) must be provided, along with the disabled person passport or comparable identification to verify ownership of the out-of-country parking permit. One valid temporary parking permit may be issued for up to 6 months. The fee is $15. We hope this information will assist you. 06/11/07 For future references your customer number is 51039 Please visit our website at casey.hsmv.state.fl.us/dmv/dm...lrecordadd.cfm
