to old for family fund
Hi i have three young adults 21,23,and 25 with autism and are too old to get a grant from the family fund is there anywhere else that does similar to the family fund, its very exspensive keeping up with the stuff they need and could do with a little help

not sure about grants for adults you could try to see if the ILF can help with living costs if you are caring for the three in your own home and it's more of a financial burden to do so ilf.uk/ have you checked with a benefits advisor that you are getting all the appropriate benefits? you can find an advisor through your local "carers" centre of ask at the jocentre if they have a specialist disabilities advisor you may also find that your social worker could help put you in touch with someone hope you find the help you need mazz |

thanks mazz its been a long time since ive i have had a benifits check so i will get it done asap and have a word with my scocial worker to see what can be done

If your social worker has access to Funderfinder software you may be able to find a source of grants. There are some really obscure local ones which can be hard to find out about. Check out organisations like Round Table etc locally as many of these like to give to local people.

thanks i will be seeing the scocial worker this week and ask her about the funderfinder, can i apply to the round table or should i ask the scocial worker to find out
