Our first Disney experience. Disneyland Paris - Day 1
Me – 29
Kev – 33 Freddie – 4.5 Tommy 2.5 Day 1 – Monday 1st October 2007 We left home in the Isle of Man at about 8.30am to make our way to the airport for our first flight to Manchester. Uneventful flight which was on time at 10.00am. Arrived in Manchester Airport and as we were flying with Flybe for both our flights we didn’t have to check in again. Had a very expensive lunch in Manchester Airport before boarding our second flight to Paris at 1pm. Arrived in Paris, got bags and decided on a taxi to our hotel so we could get there a bit quicker than going on the coach. We stayed in the Hotel Explorers for our first night (as we were late arriving so wouldn’t be able to get much use out of park tickets if we had stayed in a Disney hotel). Check in was easy (no queues) and we went straight to our room which was an internal room above the shop which overlooked the inside of the hotel. We then grabbed our swimming things and went for a quick swim before dinner. The pool was great with two good slides. Kev then took the boys to the soft play area while I took the swimming things back to the room to hang them up to dry and get the bits we needed for dinner. We had the buffet for dinner in the Plantation restaurant which was very nice with loads of selection. We then headed to the Disney shop where we bought the boys a pirate bandana each and an autograph book for Freddie. Then we headed to bed for an early night.

Great to read a trippie on Disneyland Paris as I wouldn't mind going to see it one day.
