The Gosses do DLP - day 4
Disneyland Paris – March 2004
Cast GOS – Rick Gosses Wife – Heather (Me) Wednesday 17th March This is our last day today and our train leaves at 6.30pm tonight, so we must make the most of our last day. Breakfast again in the Parkside Diner and then we check out of our room leaving our luggage with the left luggage porter. The sun is shinning again today with the prospect of another warm/hot day. We head for the Studios first today to do the Stunt Show again as well as Cinemagic and Animagic. We also do the Animator’s tour (this is in French with English sound over headphones), ending up with the Learn to Draw a Character section. This is being introduced at WDW soon and is very popular. Rick has his picture taken with Brother Bear and then we make our way back to Disneyland. We have some shopping to do, and have lunch at Pizzeria Bella Notte. We watch the Mickey’s Showtime at the Videopolis. This is a really good show, even though some of the songs are sung in French. This is due to change in the summer for Legend of the Lion King show, similar to that which is currently at Animal Kingdom. Then its back round to Adventureland for a final ride – Thunder Mesa Riverboat Landing. A final visit to the Emporium and a stop to purchase rolls of the train ride home and then it’s back to the hotel to collect our cases. The weather today has been fantastic; in fact the whole trip has been very enjoyable, even if the park is located in France. The start of our journey home begins well; the train is on time and the first leg to Lille, uneventful. We have a slightly longer wait at Lille this time, approximately 1hr 10mins. We have to clear passport control and the usual baggage scans. The train is on time and we find our seats with out any trouble. The second leg continue with no problems, including a passport check on the train. We arrive at Waterloo on time and once we have taken the Tube to Tooting and taken a taxi home the whole journey has taken just over 5 hours. We have enjoyed our trip to Disneyland Paris (or EuroDisney as Rick and I know it!) and hopefully we will not leave it another 10 years until we go again. |

Sounds as though you had a fantastic and enjoyable time reliving some happy memories... reminded me of our two trips to DLP, although we have never been to the studios yet.

Oh sounds like you had a lovely time. Makes me want to go back in the better weather, after our first trip in Febraury 1999 with snow on the ground have decided would need to be there in warm sunshine next time!
