Your thoughts on this Itinerary
We are DH (37) DW (35), DD (11) and DS (4) staying at AKL
DH loves coasters, but is happy to ignore most of his craving as the rest of the family aren't big coaster / thrill ride fans. Here is my first go at an Intinerary, please feel free to make suggestions or rip it to shreds! The only things that really can't move are DC, CRT breakfast and going home (sob, sob! ) Sat 10/07 - Arrive, explore hotel, DD for a meal perhaps Sun 11/07 - Epcot (Ice Cream Social in pm) Mon 12/07 - MGM (Fantasmic package) Tue 13/07 - CRT for breakfast and then MK Wed 14/07 - Discovery Cove Thu 15/07 - AK (Jiko in evening (Kids in Simbas)) Fri 16/07 - US / IOA for kids rides only Sat 17/07 - Shopping / Chill day Sun 18/07 - Family Choice Day (Toying with Calif Grill for evening) Mon 19/07 - Typhoon Lagoon (Hoop Dee Doo at 5pm) Tue 20/07 - Seaworld Wed 21/07 - MK (Family Magic Tour) Thu 22/07 - Family Choice Fri 23/07 - Family Choice (CRT for dinner) Sat 24/07 - Downtown checkin and then Family Choice Sun 25/07 - Arrive back in Manchester Any thoughts guys? |

Sounds good on your family choice have your Family Choice have you thought about a game of miniature golf at pirates cove on I drive or the 1 in LBV just a thought.

I've really left Family Choice days for DW and the kids to choose what we do on those days, when we are there.
Had thought about squeezing in Boggy Creek though?!? |

I personally would have more then one day at Universal... with all the new rides there now you could easily do a day at each Universal Park.

Looking good Ian although not much shopping time in there-lol
I'd also plan more time at Seaworld.

I would plan more resting time. You must have incredible stamina. I would be knackered after about Day 3!

Ian you have 6 days of Park days and then two family choice days, why dont you split the 6 days up by putting one of the family choice days in the middle. I would also plan more time at Seaworld but we love that park Otherwise its looking good

Ulsterscot... As far as stamina is concerned... we are staying on-site so we can take each park as it comes and go back to the hotel / pool for chill out time whenever we need to. Andy_D... The Universal / IOA day is because I see these parks as more thrill rides than rides my kids will enjoy, and if they really like it they can always use a family choice day for another visit... same with the Seaworld thing, although my 7 day free pass will ahve expired if I don't go earlier? Anne... maybe a re-jigged family choice earlier in the first week can become a shopping day ? |

Would the DC day not feel like a bit of a rest day...from all the reviews I've read?

Ian - all looks okay to me! I've put in a couple of spare/family choice days in my itinerary so they can decide what to do on those days. Looking through your replies I think you've got everything covered.
