Anyone stayed at Rose Hall resort and spa in Jamacia

Just wondering if anyone has stayed at this resort. We are going with 2 other families and was wondering if anyone ese has been and if they have any tips or reports.

We stayed there but it was a long time ago. Nice hotel with a good beach. A little out of Montego Bay but that's good security wise. Not much else to say. A good hotel in a good location. We didn't like Jamaica so haven't been back but the Rose Hall was fine

Had booked to stay there in October 2007 but Virgin cancelled our holiday in the September as the hotel was having a full refurb.

So when looking at trip reviews it maybe worth ignoring the ones before this date.

HI,

Same as Lola - along time ago. Very good hotel and really liked it. Again agree that it is better being away from Montego Bay. Also agree that I would not wish to return to Jamaica.

Dunns River Falls were excellent, apart from that we stayed in the hotel all the time (1 week) - they have security there for a reason.

I agree with Anne K - I didn't want to give people worries but make sure you don't go anywhere unescorted. We did Dunn's river and Ocho Rios and the places were lovely. We go to Barbados now in the caribbean.
